The month of July 2020 marked the 21st anniversary of the persecution of Falun Gong. 729 Falun Gong practitioners were arrested and 681 harassed for their faith. At the time of writing, 460 practitioners remain in custody and 7 have been forced to go into hiding to avoid further persecution.
After signing a petition to protest the persecution of Falun Dafa, a man in Basel commented, “Most people in the world abide by certain moral principles. This has nothing to do with who is in power or what faith you have. To uphold human dignity, I hope the Swiss government will work with other supporting forces to bring about a historic movement. If more governments raise their concerns, the pressure would be enough and we would see results.”

Mr. Du Xinggui had been sentenced to 2.5 years for his faith in Falun Gong, but released on medical parole. His health quickly declined after the police attempted to take him back into custody to serve his prison term in May 2020.
Practitioners demonstrated the exercises, talked to people about Falun Dafa and raised awareness of the persecution in China on Saturday, August 15, in central Stockholm.
The Board of Chosen Freeholders of Somerset County in New Jersey issued a proclamation for Falun Dafa on August 11, 2020, recognizing 21 years of peaceful resistance to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.
