1. [Zhenyuan County, Gansu Province] Ms. Qiang Weixiu Taken to Prison
Ms. Qiang Weixiu was arrested at home by officers from the Zhenyuan County Domestic Security Division on July 4, 2018. She was sentenced to four years in prison by the local court in 2020. She appealed but her sentence was upheld. She was taken to the Lanzhou Prison in September 2020.
2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Liyan Arrested
Ms. Liu Liyan was asked to go to the police station on October 13, 2020, to get back her things confiscated previously.
She went to the Criminal Investigation Division on the third floor of the police station. The officers body searched her, and told her to sit on an iron stool (for criminal interrogation), which she refused.
She was taken to the Shenyang City No. 1 Detention Center at around 1 p.m. on October 14. The detention center refused to admit her, as she failed the required physical exam. She was brought back home by her child. After she went home, she felt dizzy, nauseous, and weak. She could hardly move her arms and couldn’t take care of herself.
3. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Xu Zhangqing’s Family Faces Trial
Mr. Xu Zhangqing and his son Mr. Xu Gaorui had been held in the Xiaonan Detention Center for over a year. In October 2020, the detention center was relocated to Xiaogang Town. They are currently being held in the Xiaogan Detention Center. The authority planned to try the family of three in court at the end of October.
Officials in Xiaonan District frequently harassed Mr. Xu Gaorui’s mother-in-law. They intimidated and threatened her and repeatedly demanded her to sign on a piece of paper. The elderly woman could not read the content and could not write, so they forced her to press her fingerprints, which put her under significant pressure.
4. [Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Luo Shengxian’s Case Turned Over to Procuratorate
Ms. Luo Shengxian, 75, was arrested at home, on the morning of July 30, 2020, by 11 people including deputy director Xiao of the Haozikou Police Station, residential community police officers, law enforcement staff and personnel responsible for monitoring Internet content.
They ransacked her home, and confiscated Minghui Weekly, Epidemic Status Weekly, keepsakes, over 60 printed materials, four cell phones, and two Falun Dafa books.
Ms. Luo was interrogated at the police station. Her blood samples and fingerprints were forcibly taken, and her urine was tested. It was not until 11 p.m. that her son was told that he could pay the security deposit, and Ms. Luo was released.
The officials subsequently called her several times to harass her. The police station told her that she had to show up whenever they called her to go there, and said that her case had been turned over to the procuratorate. On October 18 the procuratorate notified her to go there.
5. [Siping City, Jilin Province] List of Practitioners Held in Gongzhuling Prison
Falun Gong practitioners held in the Gongzhuling Prison include: Shi Xuwang, Xu Hongyu, Sun Lei, Si Shaopeng, Ma Changqing, Sun Guichang, Feng Kuiwen, Wang Yuhao, Tian Piming, Tao Yanyu, Yue Naiming, Zhang, Guo Baojun, Yu Chunming, Chi Minxiang, Wen Zhiyong, Shao Yuning, Zhang Baodong, Wu Lei, Dai Zhongquan, Hu Yougang, Yang Guoshu, Sun Xianting, Fu Renjiang, Jing Zhixin, Ma Longbo, Liu Weixue, Liu Hongbin, Yang Yucai, Liu Meng, Qi Hui, Tan Li, Cui Tao, Fan Xiaochun, Yan Litao, Hao Kai, Li Mingyang, Shen Dong, and Chu Guiyan.
The longest prison term to be served is by Mr. Feng Kuiwen, who was sentenced to life. He was shot by the police when he was arrested. He suffers serious injuries.
6. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Practitioners Zhao Xilan (gender unknown), Ms. Wang Wei, and Xiaohong (gender unknown) in Sujiatun District were arrested at home, on October 13, 2020, by officers from the Jiefang Police Station ordered by the Sujiatun District Domestic Security Division.
They were taken to the Shenyang City No. 1 Detention Center. They were released the next evening for failing the physical examinations.
7. [Huanghua City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Tried
Ms. Wu Jinyan, Mr. Wang Deyou, Ms. Dai Guiqing, Mr. Feng Jingqiao, and Ms. Zhuang Zixue were tried by the Huanghua City Court at 9 a.m. on September 11, 2020.
8. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Xianjun and Wife Ms. Xu Yan Arrested
Mr. Zhang Xianjun and his wife Ms. Xu Yan in Shuangcheng District reported to the Zhanqian Police Station on October 18, 2020. They were taken into custody at the police station, and subsequently arrested by the Dongfeng police station.
On October 19, Mr. Zhang was sent to quarantine in Wuchang City for 15 days, and then transferred to the Shuangcheng District Detention Center. Ms. Xu was sent to quarantine in the Harbin City No. 4 Detention Center for 15 days, and then transferred to the Harbin City No. 2 Detention Center.
The couple was arrested on May 16, 2020, for placing Dafa information on private cars and were later taken into criminal detention. The couple was released due to the epidemic, and were ordered not to sell their houses or leave Shuangcheng within six months, and to report to the police station every day.
9. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Xu Dewu Arrested
Xu Dewu (gender unknown) in Weiziyu Town was arrested by the Xinbin County police on the morning of October 21, 2020. Xu was taken to Fushun City. Xu’s truck and some Falun Gong informational materials were confiscated by the Weiziyu Police Station.
10. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhang Xiaolin and Wife Ms. Zhang Fan Harassed
Sun Xuehua, Party secretary of Bajiaowan Community, Tongyuanju Sub-district, and staff member Liu Hongyu went to Mr. Zhang Xiaolin and Ms. Zhang Fan’s home and harassed them on October 13, 2020. They asked the couple to sign statements renouncing Falun Gong, which the couple refused.
11. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lin Jiangyue’s Case Brought to Court
Ms. Lin Jiangyue was arrested by officers from the Nanta Police Department on July 12, 2020. She has been held in the Chaoyang City Detention Center. Her case was turned over to the Shuangta Procuratorate, and now brought to the Shuangta Court.
12. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Bai Yufu and Wife Ms. Zhang Lixin Face Trial
Mr. Bai Yufu and his wife Ms. Zhang Lixin in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, are facing trial by the Zhangwu County Court, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province.
13. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Hou Faces Trial
Ms. Hou, who works on the second floor of Changchun Science and Technology City, was arrested on September 19, 2020. She is being held in the Siping City Detention Center, and is facing trial.
14. [Chongqing] Ms. Liu Changxiu Arrested
Ms. Liu Changxiu in Nan’an District was reported to the police when distributing Falun Gong informational discs at Xiangshui Road Station in Nanping on October 21, 2020. She was arrested by plainclothes officers.
15. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Ma Zhanlou Harassed
Director of the Xiguan Town Police Station and other people went to Mr. Ma Zhanlou’s home and harassed him on October 20, 2020. Mr. Ma was taken to the police station for interrogation. They asked him who wrote a letter of complaint, and asked him to sign and fingerprint paperwork. He was released at around 11 p.m. that night.
16. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Lin Huawen Arrested
Ms. Lin Huawen, in her 60s, in Yinlangxincheng Community, was reported to the police by Zhou Hong for posting Falun Gong materials in a residential community on October 18, 2020. Zhou grabbed her and would not let her go. Zhou pushed her onto the ground and pressed a knee on her chest. Zhou called 110 Response Unit. Zhao Jianbo and other officers from the Chengfeng Police Department arrested her.
The officers ransacked Ms. Lin’s home and confiscated Falun Gong informational booklets. She was brought home that day.
She was again arrested at home by the officers at noon on October 21. On the same day, she was taken to the Longnan Hospital for a physical examination, including a nucleic acid test. The police wanted to take her to Lindian County for detention.
17. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Cao Fayuan and Family Members Harassed
Feng Daowu, Party secretary of the Yutushan Community, Saicheng Lake Management Office, Jiujiang Economic Development Zone, called Mr. Cao Fayun’s wife again on October 12, 2020. Feng asked the couple to go to the community office to sign paperwork, otherwise it would adversely impact the future of their son Mr. Cao Feng, who works quite some distance out of town.
18. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Ying’s Case Turned Over to Procuratorate
Ms. Wang Ying and Ms. Zhang Guifang in Nankai District were photographed and reported to the police by a person who is responsible for monitoring Internet content, when talking to people about Falun Gong on January 19, 2020.
They were arrested and their homes ransacked by officers from the Wanxing Police Station on March 30. They were released 24 hours later.
The Nankai Procuratorate notified Ms. Wang on the afternoon of October 21 that her case was turned over to the Procuratorate.
19. [Beizhen City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Xiujie Officially Arrested
Ms. Chen Xiujie in Wangtun Village, Goubangzi Town, was arrested at home by officers from the Goubangzi Police Station on October 14, 2020. She was taken to the Jinzhou City Women’s Detention Center. She was officially arrested by the Linhai City Procuratorate.
20. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Elderly Ms. Liu Arrested
Elderly Ms. Liu was arrested around October 20, 2020. Her current situation is unknown.
21. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Weizong’s Case Turned Over to Procuratorate
Mr. Li Weizong in Majie Village, Zhangqiu District, was arrested while working in a refractory brick factory in the early morning of October 14, 2020. His case was turned over to the Procuratorate on October 20.
