(Minghui.org) Two Falun Gong practitioners imprisoned for their faith were tortured at Baoanzhao Prison in Inner Mongolia for resisting the persecution of their faith.
Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
Baoanzhao Prison, located in Jalaid Banner, with both male and female divisions, is specifically used to imprison Falun Gong practitioners sentenced for not renounce their faith. Many practitioners have been severely tortured here. Some were tortured to death, including Ms. Zhou Caixia, Ms. Yu Xiulan, Mr. Tian Fujin and Mr. Fang Qingchang.
Mr. Yang Wanming, a former lieutenant colonel of Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia, was sentenced to six years in prison in September 2014. He previously served another seven years for his faith.
Mr. Yang did the Falun Gong meditation on March 26, 2019. The director of No.1 Ward, Lu Xing'an, sprayed chili pepper water onto his face and then shocked him with electric batons. He collapsed from the pain and crawled on the ground. The prison guards shocked him again the next day. He passed out and had to be sent to the emergency room for resuscitation.
Mr. Zong Tingxuan is from Horqin Right Front Banner in Inner Mongolia. He was sentenced to six years on October 15, 2015.
To protest the persecution, he refused to do slave labor on April 16, 2019. The ward director Lu ordered several inmates to wrap him in a constraint blanket, leaving only his head outside.
The guards carried Mr. Zong to Lu's office. They also sprayed chili pepper water to his face and inserted acupuncture needles into his forehead and philtrum. He had blood spots on his face.
The local Falun Gong practitioners in Inner Mongolia are calling on people familiar with the prison to provide detailed contact information of the perpetrators and expose the human rights abuses there.
