At the 20th International Cultural Festival in Auckland, the Falun Gong group presented an exercise demonstration, waist-drum performance, and dragon dance performance. The performances were well-received and many visitors to the booth afterward were appalled to learn that such a peaceful practice is persecuted in China.
At events held in Sweden and Slovakia, Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the meditative exercises and informed people about the persecution of the practice in China. One spectator said to the group, "I feel a sense of peace with you. I can feel the energy field--very powerful.”
After a discussion in the British Parliament, news outlets including the BBC, The Guardian, Sunday Express, and Scotsman highlighted the Chinese regime's killing of prisoners of conscience for organs, citing investigative reports from various international NGOs and witness testimony from the China Tribunal. “We are not willing to sit back and be bystanders,” wrote Alistair Carmichael MP.
