Notice: Call for Submissions to Commemorate World Falun Dafa Day 2019

(Minghui.org) To celebrate the upcoming 20^th World Falun Dafa Day, the Minghui Editorial Board hereby calls for submissions of articles and artwork such as music, painting, and calligraphy from Dafa disciples all over the world. The purpose is to bear witness to the wonderfulness of Dafa disciples cultivating under the guidance of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, to attest to the compassionate sacrifice made by Master Li Hongzhi for Dafa disciples and the world's people, as well as to validate Falun Dafa's purity and selflessness.

Submissions will be accepted now through April 13.

The intended audience is people from all walks of life, including those who know little about Falun Dafa or who even harbor misunderstandings of Falun Dafa due to the Chinese Communist Party's propaganda. Therefore, the wording, sentence structure, logic, commentaries, and illustrations in the submissions should be geared towards these readers and easy to follow, understand and accept. Artistic creations should articulate a clear theme and be produced with traditional techniques.

Topics of submissions may include cultivation stories, especially those showcasing practitioners improving in mind and body and elevating moral standards, stories about Dafa disciples holding firm to their faith, staying upbeat, and persisting in clarifying the truth to non-practitioners amidst the ongoing persecution, as well as stories about people from all walks of life understanding the truth and supporting Dafa disciples.

In today's society, especially the one in mainland China under the rule of the CCP, corrupt officials, declining moral standards, and environmental pollution are commonplace. People's minds and bodies have been contaminated, and they are restless yet looking for hope. As cultivators who have benefited from Falun Dafa, it is our responsibility to share Dafa's wonderfulness with people so that they can understand the truth, break free from the CCP's lies, and be blessed by Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

“Human society is one big practice site.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference”) Dafa disciples improve our xinxing amidst our daily life and work, and we follow Dafa's teachings to look within and improve our moral standards when encountering conflicts and dilemmas. Everything we do is a ladder leading us to “attain the righteous Enlightenment of selflessness and altruism.” (“Non-Omission in Buddha-Nature”)

Those who have understood the truth know that Falun Dafa is beneficial to every person and society at large. Cultivating in Falun Dafa not only helps cultivators improve moral standards and stay healthy, but also benefits society. In normal society, freedom of speech and freedom of belief are protected by law and respected.

In mainland China, Dafa disciples have never responded to the CCP persecution with hatred or violence. Instead, they have been kindly and peacefully clarifying the truth to their perpetrators and helping them dispel falsehoods and hatred.

During the past twenty years, the CCP has created a harsh environment that is filled with discrimination, falsehoods, and slander. Amidst the chaotic and material world with declining morality, we persevere in following Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to stay healthy and improve moral standards; we spread the energy of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to people around us.

Our experiences are ordinary, yet filled with miracles, difficult, yet full of wonderfulness. Countless drops of water make up the mighty ocean; the fleeting today helps build the long-term future.

Let us pick up a pen to write down our personal experiences and record the true history to save for people of the future.

Every fellow practitioner who has been genuinely cultivating Falun Dafa has his or her own experiences of benefiting from the practice. These experiences, no matter how trivial we think they are, bear witness to the process of lives' elevation and can help validate Dafa's purity and selflessness and attest to the goodness of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

We hope that more practitioners will write down and share their personal experiences so as to help people appreciate what Falun Dafa is advocating and what kind of lives Dafa disciples are becoming by cultivating under the guidance of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. When they come to understand “Falun Dafa is good,” a simple yet critical fact that concerns the present and future well being of everyone, they will have a pathway to a bright future.

We hope that all Dafa disciples will enthusiastically participate and send in your submissions as soon as possible. Please cherish this precious opportunity to clarify the truth to society.
