(Minghui.org) Our Chinese ancestors said that one will be rewarded or punished by what one has done. When the Chinese Communist Party(CCP) came into power, it promoted atheism and encouraged fighting so that people would no longer believe in this saying. Particularly in its persecution of Falun Dafa, people who work in the public security system have become both perpetrators and victims.
According to Minghui.org, over ten thousand police officers, judicial personnel, other officials, and ordinary citizens in China have received karmic retribution for their participation in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. Below are my experiences of clarifying the truth to people in the public security system.
My Brother-in-Law Changes
My brother-in-law is a procurator, so it was very difficult for me to tell him anything about Dafa. As soon as I began talking, he would yell, “The CCP pays me, so I can’t quit it! I need to go along with it.”
Of all the city departments, the office where he worked was the worst in persecuting practitioners. To try to help him understand the facts and quit the Party, I wrote him letters and gave out his phone number on Minghui.org. This way, overseas practitioners could call and clarify the truth to him. Other practitioners also gave him informational pamphlets and DVDs about Dafa.
While talking with him one day, he told me that his office was in the same building as the courthouse and that many judges and procurators had passed away one after another. Many of them died from leukemia or liver cancer, and there was a pattern: a judge would die after a procurator had passed away, and vice versa. After a death, people in the building would guess whether the next one would be a judge or a procurator. The guesses often turned out to be correct.
A good friend of his in court also suffered from cancer and had an operation. He shared that some of the families would go to the Procuratorate to fight to have the CCP’s flag cover the coffin of their deceased family member. I felt truly sad for them, as these people had blindly lost their lives helping the Party persecute Dafa. They were loyal to the evil CCP even after death.
I told my brother-in-law that according to an article on Minghui.org, many people who participated in persecuting practitioners had met with karmic retribution. They included police officers, procurators, and judges.
He seemed to give this point serious consideration. He later told me that the son of the political director in his office was recently diagnosed with cancer and died. He was only 28 years old.
I published an article on Minghui.org to tell this story to help awaken those judges and procurators and have them stop persecuting practitioners. My brother-in-law read it and said, “You’re a good storyteller.” His colleagues also read the article.
He later told me that no one in his office wanted to take cases relating to Falun Dafa anymore.
One day, out of the blue, he said, “Falun Dafa will be redressed one day. You guys just wait for the good news.”
My Sisters Stop Participating in the Persecution
I have two younger sisters who work in the public security system. The youngest one is a police officer, while the older one works at a women's prison. She was responsible for imprisoning elderly practitioners who became ill or disabled during their detention.
After the CCP began its persecution of Falun Dafa, she called and told me to stop practicing. I told her that there was nothing wrong with being a good person who follows the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. I said the law should protect citizens’ freedom of belief, and the persecution was against the law.
She refused to listen and began to crazily yell at me. She told me to cut off all ties to our family. My mother had been listening to the conversation and mistakenly thought that I had wanted to cut off ties with her. She became angry and wouldn’t answer my calls or let me visit her.
In the summer of 2005, my mother finally agreed to see me. I learned that my sister was in poor health. She had severe headaches every day and often had to take sick days. Many people working in the prison involved in persecuting practitioners were getting sick at the time.
I told my sister that the names of her warden, deputy warden and many officers had been posted on Minghui.org, and her name was also on it.
I told her that people who participate in persecuting Falun Dafa will be punished by heaven. I also told her stories of people receiving blessings from sincerely reciting, “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I asked her to give it a try.
I also urged my family members to quit the Party and its affiliated youth organizations. My brother-in-law gladly agreed. My mother and my two younger sisters didn’t quit until some time later when they published their solemn declarations.
My sister's health miraculously improved after she published her solemn declaration. Her husband was to be promoted to deputy warden, but he declined the position, saying he preferred to live a calmer life.
Both of my sisters said that they would stop taking part in activities to persecute practitioners.
Seeing that my health improved after practicing Dafa, my mother began to listen to Master Li Hongzhi’s (the founder of Falun Dafa) lectures and practitioners' cultivation experiences.
I have continually clarified the truth the police over the years. After learning the facts, some of them have quit the CCP, some have stopped persecuting practitioners, and some even started protecting practitioners.
