(Minghui.org) I deeply appreciate the wonders of Dafa and the benevolence of our Teacher, Mr. Li Hongzhi. I have been blessed, guided, and protected on my cultivation path.
My Health Improved and My Wisdom Came Forth
My stomach pain, heart problem, and neurasthenia all disappeared after I began my cultivation in Falun Dafa in 1998. The wonders of Dafa also improved my mental state. It gave me wisdom that allowed me to achieve extraordinary accomplishments in my work.
I am an agricultural technician. The agricultural product that I had been experimenting with for many years was approved by provincial experts. It was designated as the superior species and was promoted domestically in 1999. This was a remarkable achievement that I would never have gained without Falun Dafa.
I did not have enough workers to plant crops in the spring of 2000 when, unexpectedly, 20 people from my hometown came to help. They worked hard, and soon we were back on schedule. Among the helpers, 18 were Falun Dafa practitioners. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, everyone else was respectful of Falun Dafa.
The manpower problem was solved because of Dafa practitioners, and there was a nice rain after the plants were in the ground. It was pivotal for the survival and growth of the plants. Some plants even bore fruit in the first year. The harvest was sent to the international farm product exposition and won the top prize.
People commented on our good fortune. I told them it is because we practice Falun Dafa, which helped me solve all my problems. I took the opportunity to clarify the facts of Dafa, to unveil its wonder, and to help them see the evilness of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
A Close Call
The stalks of the old plants have to be removed after the harvest every year. The workers decided that burning them would be quicker than physically removing them. But close by the field were homes, warehouses, and workshops. The burning was going well—until the wind suddenly picked up. The workers tried to put out the fire, but it was gaining strength and moving toward the houses.
Everyone worked hard to put out the fire. The fire department was even called in to help, but the fire was too strong and could not be stopped. Then the thought came to me to ask Teacher Li for help.
I shouted, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. The Fa rectifies the cosmos, and the evil is completely eliminated.” I shouted repeatedly.
The fire was getting dangerously close to the houses when the wind suddenly died down and changed direction toward an empty field. I cried in joy, truly grateful that we avoided a catastrophe. I explained to the workers what I said during the fire. They all appreciated the miracles of Dafa.
Two workers who heard me shouting during the fire said with tears in their eyes, “We are truly grateful. Without Teacher's help, we would have been in great trouble.”
Another worker said, “It is wonderful. I will remember to say, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ whenever I run into trouble in the future.”
Afterward, I looked within and I found that I had an attachment of wanting to complete things quickly, often overlooking details. This was a good lesson for me.
Letting People Know the Facts about Falun Dafa
High-rise buildings were being constructed near the crop field. They caused problems for me because of the hills of dirt they piled around us and the extraction of large amounts of underground water. I maintained the standard of a cultivator and practiced Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in dealing with them.
I had lots of difficulties in dealing with them. I met with them many times, but no one would talk to me. I once waited on site for half a day while they were in meetings. I did not disturb the meetings and spoke with them kindly afterward.
Others all said that I was being too nice, that they were at fault, and that I need not be so tolerant. Someone suggested that I hire someone else to take care of it. I rejected their suggestions, telling them that I am a Dafa practitioner, and I abide by “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” and I must deal with it in a righteous way.
From this, many people saw the goodness of Dafa. Some who were biased against Dafa changed, and they all quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
A certain CEO was very uncooperative in our dealings. He refused to give us any compensation, but I did not give up in telling him the facts about Falun Dafa.
“As a practitioner, I would not persist in telling you about Falun Dafa if all I cared about was getting compensation,” I said.
“In dealing with you, I find that you Dafa practitioners are different from others,” he said. “No one can match your kindness, truthfulness, tolerance, and patience.”
He then quit the CCP, and I was greatly moved
Telling the Facts about Dafa at a Police Station
I was reported by someone who did not know the truth about Dafa. I was illegally arrested at home on July 15, 2014. I maintained the thought that I do not accept the arrangements of the old forces.
I was taken to the police station for interrogation. Since the policemen could not get any “useful” information out of me, they took me to another office for further probing. I knew all this was not coincidental, and that it was for me to tell the officers about Falun Dafa. In my heart, I asked for Teacher's help.
I greeted the policeman who was recording our conversation on paper. He asked me to sit across the table from him. “The government has banned it,” he began. “Why do you still practice it?”
“This ban against Falun Dafa violates the constitution, which protects citizens' freedom of belief,” I explained. “The persecution was Jiang Zemin's (the former CCP leader) arbitrary act. People all know that practicing Falun Dafa enhances one's health and improves one's moral character. I have neither taken any medication nor spent a penny of the government's medical care fund since I began to practice. It has saved a lot of the government's money. Why should I not practice Falun Dafa? I will not lie by saying bad things about it. This is why I will not give it up.”
“Who does not want to have good health?” I continued. “Please do your best to help practitioners in the future. You will be rewarded by heaven once you side with righteousness.”
He appeared to agree with what I was saying. He told me that higher authorities gave them orders, and so they were just fulfilling their responsibilities. They detained me for five days, and then I returned home.
