(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 14 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 5 were illegally arrested.

Ms. Xiong Wenfang was recently sentenced to a four-year prison term by the Luohu District Court.
2. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Xianghong Detained
Ms. Wang Xianghong was arrested at work by about 20 officers from the Dazhou City Domestic Security Division on June 10, 2017. She was taken to a detention center in Dazhou.
3. [Shanghai] Mr. Lu Jinlong Arrested
Mr. Lu Jinlong was recently arrested.
4. [Luohe City, Henan Province] Four Practitioners Detained
Ms. Liu Yingchun, Mr. Yan Xinliang, Mr. Liu Jingmin, and Mr Lu Xueli, recently arrested, were transferred from the Xiping County Detention Center in Zumadian City to the Linying County Detention Center in Luohe City.

5. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Huabin Detained
Mr. Zhang Huabin was arrested on June 15, 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was taken to the Longjiang Detention Center.

6. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Ms. Dai Fengting Arrested
Ms. Dai Fengting, 52, was arrested on June 17, 2017, for talking to people and distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home that afternoon and confiscated a picture of the founder of Falun Gong and the book the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Her family members were harassed. Ms. Dai was taken to Fangshan Detention Center that evening.
7. [Yuxi City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Li Haiyan Detained
Ms. Li Haiyan was arrested by officers from the Tonghai County Police Department on June 16, 2017, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Hongta District Detention Center on June 17.

8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Han Jianhai Detained
Mr. Han Jianhai was recently arrested and had his home ransacked. He might have been taken to the Dalian Detention Center.
9. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Four Practitioners Facing Trials
Mr. Liu Weidong, Ms. Han Qiuli, Ms. Wang Xiuxia, and Mr. Su Shaohua from Xi'an City were arrested on July 4, 2015. They were sentenced to prison terms of, repsectively, four years, seven years, three years, and two years and two months in the Yanta District Court on November 18, 2016. They all appealed their sentences. It was learned that the Xi'an Intermediate Court would hold trials in the near future.
10. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xiu Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Li Xiu, 57, was arrested on November 2, 2016. She was sentenced to an eight-month prison term and fined approximately 2,000 yuan.
11. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Hao Chunying and Ms. Wang Xinlian Taken to Prison
Ms. Hao Chunying and Ms. Wang Xinlian were taken to the Liaoning Women's Prison on May 23, 2017.
Ms. Hao Chunying, 55, arrested on April 22, 2016, was sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term. She appealed and the case was dismissed.
Ms. Wang Xinlian, 53, arrested on June 28, 2016, was sentenced to a four-year prison term. She appealed and her case was dismissed.
12. [Jingtai County, Gansu Province] Mr. Ma He Detained
Mr. Ma He was arrested in late May 2017, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was taken to the Jingtai County Detention Center.
Mr. Ma went to the Jingtai County Court in 2014 and was arrested. He released on bail due to high blood pressure.
