(Minghui.org) We are Falun Dafa practitioners from a small frontier village in the northeastern region of China. Our Fa study group consists of four practitioners, the eldest of which is 74, and the youngest 65.
For many years we have persisted in going out to clarify the truth right after breakfast, and studying the Fa at night. Do not consider us elderly—we are as strong as any young person. Every day we walk the country roads, carrying many different kinds of truth clarification materials.
While going door-to-door to clarify the truth and encourage people to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), we have encountered many who curse at us, yell at us, become sarcastic, and even call the police. But most people now understand the facts and express their gratitude.
Master said:
“Dafa disciples have gone through the process of Consummation, and history today has bestowed upon Dafa disciples an even greater responsibility: not your own liberation and Consummation, but saving more sentient beings. That's why you deserve to be Dafa disciples.” (“Teaching and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference”)
Master’s words inspire us constantly. We measure our conduct accordingly and correct whatever is not up to par. We are Fa rectification period Dafa disciples, and we are here to help Master rectify the Fa. We have no reason to slack off.
A Wife Understands
We went to a house in a village one day, and the wife was home by herself. We were very friendly and developed a good rapport with her. After we clarified the truth, she used her real name to quit the CCP. We gave her some informational materials, which she seemed pleased to receive.
As we were leaving, she held on to my hand and wouldn’t let me leave. I didn’t know what was going on, but she seemed quite anxious. “I am safe now,” she said, “but what about my family?” I explained to her how to quit the Party, but she was still anxious. I took out a dollar bill that had truth clarification messages written on it. I told her to write on it the names of her family members and why they wanted to quit. They could then just spend the dollar and it would work. She took the bill and smiled with relief.
We Almost Left Him Out
We travel in pairs when we go out. We were once in a village and hadn’t finished visiting every household when the other two practitioners ran over to us. “Someone reported us to the police,” they said. “Let’s leave!” My partner Ya said, “Don’t be nervous. Let’s look within ourselves.” Master’s words came to mind:

I said, “Yes, let's find a place to send forth righteous thoughts.”
We found a place to sit, and sent righteous thoughts for about thirty minutes. Suddenly, an elderly person from the village rushed over, walking rather unsteadily. I thought he was coming for us, so I asked the others to send righteous thoughts.
I walked up to him and he told me he was looking for his hat. We helped him find the hat and also clarified the truth to him. He said he was in the army when he was young and was still a Party member. He told us his name and agreed to quit the Party.
I looked at him as he was walking away, and I felt a sense of sorrow. Was it his knowing side that came looking for us? If we had left the village, wouldn’t he have been left out? We went back to the village and continued our work. After that, everything went smoothly.
Always Look Within
We once went to another village, but the villagers didn’t want us there, and kicked us out. We tried to find the reason within ourselves. We later found out that there was a religious group also going door-to-door in the village. They thought we were the same group.
Facing this kind of interference, we were planning to leave for another village. Ya said, “What we are doing is the most righteous thing. We can’t let low-level gods controlling them interfere with us. We can’t leave.”
The four of us then quieted our hearts and looked within, and we all found areas where we had fallen short. Our hearts should not have been moved. We switched partners and continued door-to-door. Things went especially well after that. Many people quit the CCP, and we distributed all of our materials. Thinking about how so many people were saved, our hearts were filled with joy.
Police Car Drives on
We were carrying many different kinds of materials one day, including copies of the Nine Commentaries, DVDs, and anti-Internet blockade software. We formed our groups of two and separated. That day things did not go smoothly, and we all encountered many different kinds of interference. However, we didn’t think too much about it, and just continued.
An hour later, someone reported us to the 610 Office. When we got in touch with the other two practitioners, we found out that they had been reported to the local police station. We decided to leave.
As we walked out of the village, a police car drove right past us and made no effort to hassle us. Thank you, Master, for helping us escape danger.
Using Righteous Thoughts to Leave Police Station
The homes in one village were set on very large pieces of land, so it took a long time to go from house to house. We had only gone to a few houses when a police car stopped right in front of us.
One of the officers got out of the car and confronted at us. “What are you doing?” he yelled. “You have been reported.” I then clarified the truth to him loudly—my intention was to warn the other two practitioners. The officers wanted us to go with them, but we didn’t comply, and just kept telling them the facts.
After a while, the officers calmed down a little. One of them said, “Aunty, don’t talk here. You can talk to us in the car.” He forced us into the police car and drove around the village to find the rest of our group to take us to the police station.
When we got there, an officer asked us to give them our materials and sign our names.
I took the upper hand instead. “I see that you are young, and were brought up well,” I said. “Don’t do this. The more you participate in this, the more sins you will commit, and you will have to suffer for them in the future. Dafa disciples are all good people. If you want signatures, then write ‘Dafa disciples.’”
The officer thought for a moment and said, “All right, then you can give us some of your materials to read.” Ya took out a few books, and she also gave them software to circumvent the Internet firewall. They then told us that we could leave! We left the station with our heads held high.
On all of our trips, no matter what we have encountered, Master has always watched over us. There is no other explanation for why we have been able to overcome all the difficulties. No matter how much we have done, it was Master who paved the road.
As long as this persecution hasn’t ended, we will not slack off with our truth clarification work. We will keep going door-to-door, village-to-village, clarifying the truth and encouraging people to quit the CCP, until the very end.
