(Minghui.org) I began making phone calls to help people quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in early 2013.
It was hard at first, and I was only able to convince three to five people per day to quit the CCP, with lots of effort. My most successful day was helping eight people quit. I encountered all kinds of people when calling. Some hung up as soon as they heard the words “Falun Gong” (also known as Falun Dafa).
I felt very depressed, and all of my human notions were exposed. I was upset that the Party had poisoned them so thoroughly, and I did not want to save them, especially the ones who verbally abused Master and Dafa.
One one occasion, a man answered and began to curse Master as soon as he heard what I had to say. I explained that Master had come to save people, and that cursing wasn’t going to help anything. He nonetheless continued cursing. That made me very impatient. I thought I should just give up on him, and that he himself would have to face the consequences. I hung up.
That night in a dream I heard someone calling, “Help me! Help me!” I was shocked, and woke up. I realized that Master had let me experience this in another dimension.
I was so upset that I could not sleep afterwards. I looked within and discovered that many human notions and attachments had surfaced during the past months. I had helped over 200,000 people quit the CCP, and the attachment of zealotry was rearing its head. I was impatient when I talked to people on the phone, and I hated the CCP, which had poisoned people a lot.
Then Master’s Fa came to mind:
“I’ll tell you a truth: the whole process of cultivation is a process of constantly getting rid of human attachments.” (Zhuan Falun)
When I finally calmed down, I felt that all of my attachments had disappeared. I knew that it was because the Fa and Dafa’ mighty power had eliminated them.
I subsequently helped more and more people quit the CCP every day. Just as Master said: “The cultivation is up to you, gong is up to the master.” (Zhuan Falun)
Saving People with a Peaceful Mind
Righteous thoughts and compassion originated from the Fa. I spent several years making phone calls to spread the truth about Falun Gong and help people quit the CCP. I studied and memorized the Fa, and studied other relevant materials every day. I always asked Master to strengthen me before I hit the road. I sent righteous thoughts along the way and memorized the Fa until I felt I was surrounded by a feeling of compassion. I then began to make my phone calls with a peaceful mind.
A middle-aged man from outside my town answered my phone call. I said hello, and he asked me sharply how I knew his number. I told him that I dialed it at random, and that only a good person would answer such a call. He guessed that I was a Falun Gong practitioner.
I advised him to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations to stay safe. He warned that the CCP was against Falun Gong so I should quit doing it. He also told me that he was with the Domestic Security Division police, and was responsible for cracking down on Falun Gong.
I was stunned when I heard him say he was a police officer, But I soon calmed down. I was thinking, “I have Master to take care of me and nothing to fear. I was trying to save you.”
I told him that Master knew all about the bad deeds that the CCP has committed against Falun Gong and its practitioners, but he still wanted me to tell him the facts because he values life so much. And there’s not much time left. Many high level CCP officials who persecuted Falun Gong have already been arrested.
I could feel that Master was beside me, so I asked him to help me. I kept telling the man to quit the CCP, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers.
He told me that both his parents and his wife were police officers, and that they had all joined the CCP organizations, and his son had joined the Young Pioneers. He asked me to help all of them quit. He apologized for his bad attitude, and asked me to send his greetings to Master.
I told him not to persecute Falun Gong and also that he should tell his co-workers. He kept thanking me and reminded me to stay safe.
Master said:
“The power of true compassion can dissolve all deviant factors,…” (“Fa Teaching Given in Manhattan”)
Another time, the man who answered began cursing, using incredibly bad words. I greeted him three times until he finally calmed down.
He commented that I seemed especially nice. He apologized for his bad attitude, and explained that he had been drinking earlier that day. He told me that his wife and he had joined the CCP, and his son had joined the Young Pioneers. He agreed to quit, and thanked me for helping him renounce the vow he had sworn to the CCP. It only took him about two minutes. I deeply realized what Master said:
“Compassion can harmonize Heaven and Earth, ushering in springRighteous thoughts can save the people in this world”(“The Fa Rectifies the Cosmos” from Hong Yin Vol. II)
On another occasion, I made a call to Inner Mongolia. A middle-aged man answered.
He told me that his whole family had joined the CCP and its affiliated organizations. He had read a Dafa pamphlet in a hotel outside his hometown. The pamphlet said that quitting the CCP would help the person stay safe and help Falun Gong practitioners to spread the truth, which would generate good rewards. Three times he said that Falun Dafa was good. He wanted to donate money to Dafa and wanted to do other things for Dafa.
I told him to help his relatives and friends quit the CCP, and have them remember the words, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He said he could contact more than 200 people, and said he would talk to them about quitting the CCP.
Dafa Granted Me Wisdom to Talk to People
I used my cell phone to talk to people every day. I was eager to save people, which always allowed me to have a mind of compassion. With such a mind, what I said would easily touch people. Those who answered my calls normally did not hang up. Most of them agreed to quit the CCP, as well as some entire families.
Some of the business people who took my call told me that they were busy, so I quickly told them that quitting the CCP would improve their business. I then said, “Remember the words ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’” I then suggested a good alias, one that reflected improved business and more money. Most responded favorably.
One person who worked for the government wanted to quit the CCP, but there were people all around him. He said, “Please help me do it.” I said I would, then gave him an alias, and asked him to memorize the two phrases.
When I meet police officers, I say, “I know you are a good person. You make your living in this profession. But you need to quit the CCP to stay safe. Your job will not help you when disaster strikes. It is crucial that you make a choice.” A person’s kindness can be brought out by what we say.
There were three key points that I made certain the person heard clearly. The first was letting him know what the movement to quit the CCP was all about. The second was teaching him the phrases “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” The last was giving the person a good sounding alias. It is best to use simple words to communicate and to minimize the risk of the person hanging up.
Every day I had to walk a long way so that I could make telephone calls for more than two hours. I went out regardless of the weather. I did that for several years, and helped over 50,000 people quit the CCP.
I saw something really beautiful on a very cold day after I had finished calling. A Falun was rotating above my head, and beautiful flowers were in bloom along the road. It was so wonderful that I was even encouraged to write a poem about it.
