(Minghui.org) Our local practitioners visited many rural villages around the Chinese New Year holiday to spread the goodness of Falun Dafa and raise awareness of the persecution the practice faces in China. We also urged people to sever ties with the Party and its subordinate organizations.
We went door to door and gave the villagers DVDs, pamphlets, other materials bearing information about the persecution. We also handed out anti-Internet blocking software.
The warm reception we received was very encouraging. I would like to share some of these stories with everyone.
Tips for Peace
We visited an elderly man who had joined the CCP during his military service. He happily asked us to help him renounce the CCP after he understood the persecution is illegal from the onset.
When he saw us off at the door, an elderly lady across the street asked why we were here.
The man said, “They come to give people tips for peace.” He helped convince the lady to withdraw from the Young Pioneers of China, a CCP organization for young people she had joined decades before.
Falun Dafa Will Protect Me!
We visited a grandmother and her granddaughter. Both of them happily quit the Young Pioneers.
The third-grader then picked up our pamphlet and started to read. When we gave her a Dafa amulet, she immediately read the message on the amulet.
Her mother passed away and her father was doing odd jobs out of town. She lived with her grandmother.
She said to us happily, “Finally, I have nothing to be afraid of because Falun Dafa will protect me.”
“I Support the Lawsuits Against Jiang Zemin”
When we tried to tell an old man the facts about Falun Gong, his son asked us to leave. After we left, the old man followed us to other houses with a crutch.
We greeted him and introduced Falun Dafa to him. He said, “I never joined any organizations but I support the lawsuits against Jiang Zemin.”
We realized that he just came to give us his support. We were deeply touched by his kind act, which further strengthened our confidence in our efforts to reach out.
Driver: ‘Let Falun Dafa Protect Us’
We tried to find a ride home after we had covered the entire village. Seeing a car coming, we waved and the car slowly pulled over. Inside the car, we saw a passenger who happened to be the same one we just talked to a while back. The passenger told the driver that we help people quit the CCP.
The driver asked us why. We started from the CCP's atheism to its graft and corruption, from its lack of morality to natural and human disasters, to its taking organs from living practitioners and to the many misfortunes befalling perpetrators of the persecution.
We told him about the overwhelming tide of false propaganda about Falun Dafa and that the practice in now embraced in more than 100 countries worldwide. The driver listened carefully.
We helped the driver quit the CCP when we got out of the car. He accepted booklets, fact-clarifying DVDs, and a Dafa amulet, but declined to take money we offered for the ride. “Just let Falun Dafa protect us!” he said.
