(Minghui.org) I am 60 years old. I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. Recently, two elderly practitioners and I formed a team to go to the countryside to talk to people about Falun Dafa and distribute fliers and DVDs.
We have encountered many dangerous situations. But by remembering that Master is protecting us and sending forth righteous thoughts, we have avoided arrest.
The three of us went to a village one day in May 2015. The houses were scattered so we decided to split up. I finished my route and returned to the meeting point. One of the other two practitioners soon joined me.
A short while later, she said she didn't want to wait and she continued on another road.
I called the other practitioner I hadn't seen yet. She said something in a very low voice that I couldn't hear. I hung up the phone. When I turned around, I saw two policemen standing about 10 meters away like they were looking for someone.
I immediately sensed danger and thought that some villagers might have called the police.
I was a little scared at first. But I remembered that Master is protecting us and I sent forth righteous thoughts. I calmed down.
I saw a house very close to me so I quickly walked behind the house. I hid my bag of DVDs and fliers in a dry ditch and covered them with straw.
After that, I turned the corner and almost ran into a policeman with a phone in his hand. He questioned me, “What are you doing here?”
I was not afraid and replied with a smile, “I work in the field. What's your business here?”
The tension eased. They thought I was a local villager and so they asked if I saw two old ladies passing out Falun Gong DVDs.
I knew which way the other two practitioners had headed, so I directed them toward another road.
They asked me, “What do they look like? What color clothes were they wearing?”
“I didn't pay attention. Sorry,” I said.
They went back to their patrol car and drove down the road I had directed them to.
After the police car disappeared from my view, I went back to retrieve my bag of DVDs.
One of the other practitioners soon joined me. She saw the police officers, too and hid to protect the materials and herself.
The three of us completed our mission in the village and safely returned home.
We have encountered similar dangerous situations many times but we were never arrested. It is because we remembered that we are Dafa disciples and we asked Master to strengthen our righteous thoughts.
