(Minghui.org) Today's new from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 2 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 18 were illegally arrested.

1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Fan, Ms. Chen, Ms. Liu, and a male practitioner from Harbin City were arrested on February 18, 2016, while they were talking to people about Falun Gong in Maoershan Town, Shangzhi City. The three female practitioners are detained at the Harbin No. 1 Jail, while the male practitioner is being held at an undisclosed facility nearby.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Fengjun Imprisoned

Ms. Wang Fengjun from Dalian City was arrested on April 22, 2014, by officers from the Xigang Police Department. She was later sentenced to seven years by the Xigang Court. Ms. Wang was taken to Liaoning Women's Prison on January 12, 2016.

3. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Du Jiqun and Ms. Yu Lanfang Arrested

Ms. Du Jiqun and Ms. Yu Lanfang of Weifang City were arrested on the morning of February 22, 2016, by officers from the Gaoxin District Domestic Security Division and the Jiulongjie Police Station in Weifang City.

4. [Lanxi City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Shao Xiaoshan Incarcerated

Ms. Shao Xiaoshan of Lanxi City was arrested on October 23, 2014, and sentenced to four years on October 20, 2015. She is incarcerated in the Second Ward of Zhejiang Province No. 2 Prison. Her family is not allowed to visit her.

5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Additional Information on Ms. Li Xiuping's Arrest

Ms. Li Xiuping of Shenyang City was arrested on February 17, 2016, for suing Jiang Zemin by officers from the Bajingjie Police Station in the Heping District of Shenyang City. Her home was ransacked. Ms. Li is now in the Yuhong District Women's No. 1 Detention Center in Shenyang City. Her family is not allowed to visit her.

6. [Pingyao County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Guo Cunxiang Arrested

Ms. Guo Cunxiang, 38, is from Linzhou City, Henan Province. She was arrested in August 2015 while she was clarifying the facts about Falun Gong in Pingyao County. She is detained at the Maoerling Women's Detention Center in Yuci City, Shanxi Province.

7. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Hou Juanjuan Arrested

Ms. Hou Juanjuan from Shijiazhuang City was arrested on the morning of February 23, 2016, in a railway station by railway station police. Her current situation is unknown.

8. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Zhonghua Arrested

Ms. Wang Zhonghua from Yantai City was arrested on the morning of February 23, 2016. Gaotuan Town Police Station officers confiscated her Falun Gong related materials. She was later released.

9. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Mr. Song Guoxiang Arrested

Mr. Song Guoxiang from Zunhua City was arrested on February 23, 2016, by officers from the Dongjiuzhai Police Station while he was telling people about Falun Gong in Huanzhuang. His whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Yang Yumin, Ms. Yang Lijuan, and Ms. Yang Chuanying from Rizhao City were arrested and taken to the Zhaoyanglu Police Station on the morning of February 23, 2016, by agents from the 610 Office and neighborhood committee.

11. [Chifeng, Inner Mongolia] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Bai Xiuyun from Matiyingzi Village and Ms. Zhang Shaolian from Shanzuizi Village were arrested on January 31, 2016, by officers from the Yuanbaoshan District in Chifeng City. Ms. Fu Haiyan from Xiahuang Village and another practitioner were arrested on February 1, 2016.

Ms. Bai and Ms. Zhang were released on February 6. There is no information about Ms. Fu and the other practitioner.
