(Minghui.org) The Wanzhou Intermediate Peoples' Court upheld the original three- year sentences against three practitioners in early August 2015. The practitioners are Ms. Wang Zhengfang, Ms. Wen Qihui, and Ms. Mou Xiuyun. They are illegally imprisoned at Chongqing Women’s Prison.
Ms. Wang, 55, was illegally arrested by officers from Gaoliang Town Police Station on January 17, 2015. She was later detained at Zhoujiaba Detention Center. Ms. Wen and Ms. Mou were arrested by plainclothes officers on September 11, 2014. They were taken to Wanzhou District Brainwashing Center.
Prior Persecution-Ms. Wang
Ms. Wang was subject to forced labor for a year for peacefully petitioning the government in Beijing in 2002. Afterward, she was arrested by officers from Wanzhou District and taken to a brainwashing center. She was subject to persecution for more than a year.
Prior Persecution-Ms. Wen
Ms. Wen was arrested by officers from No. 4 Police Station of Longbao Police Department in 2001. She was taken to a brainwashing center in Wanzhou District and persecuted by Wan Shiquan (万世全), Hu Xiaozhong (胡晓中), and Qu Jing (屈静).
Ms. Wen was arrested again by officers from Gaosuntang Police Station in 2004. She was taken to Zhoujiaba Detention Center and then to Maojiashan Women’s Forced Labor Camp. She was subject to forced labor for one year.
Ms. Wen was arrested at home and taken to Zhoujiaba Detention Center by officers from the Gaosuntang Office of Wanzhou District Police Department on August 13, 2009. She was later subject to forced labor for one and a half years at Chongqing City Women’s Forced Labor Camp.
Ms. Wen was arrested again on July 25, 2011. She was taken to Wanzhou District Brainwashing Center.
Prior Persecution-Ms. Mou
Ms. Mou was arrested by officers from the Wanzhou District Police Department and Gaosuntang Office in 2004. She was taken to a brainwashing center and detained for more than four months. She was then transferred to Jingkou Brainwashing Center.
