(Minghui.org) Since May 2015, more than 160,000 Falun Gong practitioners have filed criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Practitioners in my local area discussed the issue and shared their thoughts on the matter.
Some said that Jiang and his accomplices fear the end of the persecution and would try their best to block the lawsuits. In their opinion, if enough of us sue Jiang, we can force the Supreme People's Court to try Jiang and end the persecution.
However, in my opinion, the Supreme People's Court and the current leaders of the CCP do not have the same wish to help practitioners end the persecution.
Don't Take the CCP Seriously
We can't take the party's law too seriously when filing complaints against Jiang. There are numerous miscarriages of justice in China, but how many cases have they resolved or attempted to resolve?
For example, if we look at the recent explosion in Tianjin. Did the regime disclose all the facts to the public? All they did was to cover up the incident and protect themselves.
I believe that if some practitioners develop an illusion that the regime's law, judicial system or its leaders can correct itself and end the persecution, it is a serious issue that the old forces can exploit.
CCP Exists Because of Falun Gong
When practitioners let go of their last human attachments, the old forces will get rid of the CCP and it will pass from this stage of history.
As practitioners, we should follow only Master's teachings to save sentient beings, including CCP officials.
Filing a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin can help bring more awareness of the persecution, but the reasons a practitioner files a lawsuit may not solely be based on the Fa.
Cultivating ones xinxing is always the first priority. When we think and act based on the Fa, the things we do will carry the power given by Master and the Fa.
