Additional Persecution News from China – August 31, 2015 (21 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 26 were illegally arrested. Several practitioners seeking to mail letters of complaint regarding Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme Court have met with obstacles.

1. [Pengxi County, Sichuan Province] Mr. He Xianyu's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. He Xianyu, 70, was arrested by officers from the Changle Police Station on August 25, 2015. His whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Daying County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Pu Xianfang Arrested

Ms. Pu Xianfang was arrested by officers from the Taiji Police Station on August 26, 2015. The police confiscated computers, printers, Falun Gong books, and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Pu is detained at Yongxin Detention Center in Suining City.

3. [Tongcheng County, Hubei Province] Two Practitioners Detained

Mr. Fu Wuguo from Tongcheng County and Mr. Li Pingfu from Chongyang County were arrested by officers from the Tongcheng County Domestic Security Division on August 17, 2015, for mailing criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the former dictator of the Chinese Communist Party. They were detained at the Tongcheng County Detention Center. Mr. Fu was transferred to the Banqiao Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City on August 27.

Ms. Cui Jianxiu and her sister Ms. Cui Jianai were arrested by officers from the Xiazhuang Town Police Station on August 29, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked their home.

Ms. Zhang Kang was arrested and taken to the Laodaohe Brainwashing Center by plainclothes officers on August 28, 2015.

Ms. Jin Haien, Ms. Jin Mingquan, and Ms. Jin Youen were arrested and taken to a brainwashing center by Zhongyang Town Police Station officers on August 28, 2015.

Mr. Mo Guijie was arrested by officers from the Suileng County Domestic Security Division in mid-August 2015. He was taken to Suileng County Detention Center.

10. [Longhua County, Hebei Province] Mr. Bai Hanwen and Ms. Tan Guohua Arrested

Mr. Bai Hanwen and Ms. Tan Guohua were arrested by Zhangshaying Police Station officers on August 29, 2015. Mr. Bai and Ms. Tan distributed informational materials and the confirmation receipts they received from authorities regarding the complaints they mailed against Jiang Zemin, the Chinese regime dictator, to officers at the police station. The police confiscated their motorcycles and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

11. [Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province] Ms. Tian Yuqing and Ms. Cui Guiying Arrested

Ms. Tian Yuqing and Ms. Cui Guiying were arrested at Ms. Tian's home by officers from Gaobeidian City on August 3, 2015. The police ransacked Ms. Tian's home and confiscated computers, printers, cash, and other personal items.

Mr. Zou Zhibin was arrested on August 29, 2015.

13. [Chongqing] Ms. Yang's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Yang was arrested on August 29, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her whereabouts is unknown.

Ms. Ren Anxin was arrested by plainclothes officers on August 29, 2015, for distributing informational DVDs about the persecution of Falun Gong.

16. [Xinye County, Henan Province] Mr. Liu Yanping Detained

Mr. Liu Yanping was arrested by Peng Zenglan from the Xinye County Domestic Security Division and officers from the Lihepu Town Police Station on August 21, 2015. He is detained at the Xinye County Detention Center.

Mr. Yu Yeyi was recently sentenced to a three-year prison term in the Yuzhong District Court.

19. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Qiuju and Ms. Zhang Cuila, Original Sentence Upheld

Ms. Li Qiuju and Ms. Zhang Cuilan, were each sentenced to three years in prison. The original sentences were upheld by Xuchang City Intermediate Court in mid-July 2015. They were taken to Xinxiang Women's Prison on August 13, 2015.

20. [Beijing] 354 Practitioners Arrested from January to August, 2015

A total of 354 Beijing practitioners have been arrested during the first eight months of this year. Eighty-six local police stations were involved in the arrests.

21. [Dengta City, Liaoning Province] Two Practitioners Force Fed

Ms. Guo Zhenju, Mr. Li Xuepin, Ms. Hong Xueyan, Ms. Zhang Xueyan, Mr. Wang Qingzhong, Ms. Zhao Xiuyan, and Mr. Gao Hui were taken to Shenyang Prison in July 2015.

It was recently learned that Ms. Guo and Mr. Gao were force fed. This has gone on for more than a month. Both practitioners are emaciated and on the verge of death. Despite their fragile condition, the prison still refuses to allow them to be released on bail for medical treatment.
