Additional Persecution News from China – July 13, 2015 (19 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 16 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 4 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, at least 24 were illegally arrested and the whereabouts of at least 2 is unknown.

1. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wei Zaixiu Taken to Brainwashing CenterMs. Wei Zaixiu from the Huayang Neighborhood in the Tianfu New Area was arrested on June 3, 2015. She is detained in the Xinjin Brainwashing Center.

2. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Han Qiuli Detained

Ms. Han Qiuli was arrested recently. She is detained in the Xi'an City No. 1 Detention Center.

3. [Liaozhong County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Hou Suhua and Ms. Shi Xiujun Arrested

Ms. Hou Suhua and Ms. Shi Xiujun from Jiucaigang Village, Liujianfang Township, were arrested by officers from the Liaozhong Police Department and the Liujianfang Police Station on July 10, 2015. The officers ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Dafa books and cell phones.

4. [Heishan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Xiujuan Detained

Officers from the Zhen'an Township Police Station broke into Ms. Zhang Xiujuan's home in Yingpan Village, arrested her, and ransacked the place on the morning of July 10, 2015. Ms. Zhang was taken to the Jinzhou Detention Center.

5. [Shanghai] Ms. Shen Yizhi and Ms. Qian Jianying Detained

Ms. Shen Yizhi and Ms. Qian Jianying from the Pudong New Area were arrested recently. Both practitioners are detained in the Zhangjiang Detention Center.

6. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Two Sisters Detained

Ms. Jiang Cuilan and her sister Ms. Jiang Fenglan were arrested by officers from the Kuiju Police Station for distributing Falun Gong informational materials on July 6, 2015. Both sisters' homes were ransacked. They were released.

The two sisters were arrested again on July 8 when they sought the return of their car, which had been confiscated by the police. Ms. Jiang Cuilan was detained for 15 days. Ms. Jiang Fanglan was detained for 10 days.

7. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Xu Shuxiang, Ms. Hou Guilan, and Ms. Gu Guoqin from the Shuangcheng District were arrested by officers from the Shuangcheng Domestic Security Division, the Zhoujia Domestic Security Division and the Harbin City Police Department on July 11, 2015, for mailing criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin.

8. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhang Juanhua Arrested

Ms. Zhang Juanhua was arrested by officers from the Hongkou Police Station in the Minhang District in the early morning of June 24, 2015.

9. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Chunfeng Detained

Ms. Zhang Chunfeng from the Tongzhou District was arrested on April 22, 2015. She is detained in the Tongzhou Detention Center.

10. [Sanmenxia City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Junzhi Arrested

Ms. Wang Junzhi was arrested on June 12, 2015.

11. [Tianjin] Ms. Sun Huanli Arrested

Ms. Sun Huanli from Ninghe County was arrested in Lutai Town on July 10, 2015.

12. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Hu Guojian Detained

Mr. Hu Guojian from the Dongzhou District was arrested by officers from the Ajingou Police Station for distributing Falun Gong informational materials on July 7, 2015. He is now in the Nangou Detention Center.

13. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Several Practitioners Arrested and Whereabouts Unknown.

Mr. Xiao Huiqun, Mr. Fu Zihua, and other practitioners from Shiqiao Town and Changhe Township in Jianyang City were arrested in Jiajia Town on July 5, 2015, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Their whereabouts are unknown.

14. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Sun Shuwen Detained

Mr. Sun Shuwen from Jujia Village in the Weibin District was arrested by officers from the Shibahe Police Station on July 7, 2015. The officer confiscated Falun Dafa books, DVDs and a computer among other items. He is in the Weibin Detention Center.

15. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Bao Zhiqin Goes on Hunger Strike

Ms. Bao Zhiqin went to a post office to mail her criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin on July 6, 2015. After a postal clerk reported her to the police, Ms. Bao was arrested and detained for five days by officers from the Hongshan District Police Department. Then, she was transferred to the Chifeng City Brainwashing Center on July 11. She has been on hunger strike for seven days.

16. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Meng Fanli and Ms. Liu Ying Detained

Mr. Meng Fanli from the Shuangtaizi District was arrested at work. His home was ransacked. He is in the Panshan County Detention Center.

Ms. Liu Ying was arrested that same day. She is being detained in the Panjin City Detention Center for 10 days.

17. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Zhu Qiaolan Arrested

Ms. Zhu Qiaolan was arrested by officers from the Ruijinlu Police Station on July 5, 2015.

18. [Shanghai] Ms. Wang Kehui and Ms. Chen Hua Detained

Ms. Wang Kehui and Ms. Chen Hua were arrested on June 27, 2015. Both practitioners are being held in the Zhabei Detention Center.

The deputy director of the Xingong Police Station went to Mr. Wang Baofu's job and arrested him on July 9, 2015. Mr. Wang is detained in the Panshan County Detention Center.
