Three Elderly Practitioners from Xintai City Arrested

(Minghui.org) Three elderly Falun Gong practitioners from Wennan Town, Xintai City were illegally arrested and detained on April 28, 2015.

Mr. Zhu Jiaxian, a 80-year-old doctor of Chinese medicine was taken to the Wennan Police Station. Officers ransacked his home and confiscated his computers, printing equipment, Falun Gong books and other personal belongings.

Mr. Zhu was released the next day after his family was forced to pay the police for his release. Both his daughters' homes were ransacked.

Ms. Niu Lanling in her 60s, and Ms. Li Maoju in her 70s are being held in Xintai City Detention Center. Officers ransacked their homes and confiscated their Falun Gong books and other personal belongings.

Ma Yan (female), director of Xintai City 610 Office organized the arrests, and officers from the Xintai City Domestic Security Division and Wennan Town Police Station participated.
