(Minghui.org) I was scheduled to host a meeting for team leaders in my company on the afternoon of April 25, 2014. The managing director stopped by and said, “The content of this meeting is really important. It affects the reputation of our company and employee benefits.”
He continued, “Let's make this a full staff meeting. You are good at giving speeches and people like to listen to you … I'm afraid that the team leaders lack your communication skills.”
I thought that this full staff meeting would be a perfect opportunity to speak about Falun Gong, especially since I had on my mind to tell my co-workers about the practice and the unprecedented persecution.
Distracting Thoughts Disappeared
I rushed home during my lunch break, went on the Minghui website and looked for information on the April 25, 1999 peaceful protest. I went back to work and made an outline which included why the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecuted Falun Gong, the staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident, and that Falun Gong has spread worldwide. I finished half an hour before the presentation.
When the meeting was about to start, I suddenly thought if I really should do this presentation. Immediately, I remembered what Master said:
“We have said that good or evil comes from a person’s spontaneous thought, and the thought at that moment can bring about different consequences.” (Zhuan Falun)
Why did I have this negative thought? Wasn't it fear? Usually I am not fearful when I talk to people I knew or did not know about Falun Gong. The only difference today was that there were a lot more people listening to me. There was nothing I should be afraid of, as Master is always with us! Master said,
“When disciples have ample righteous thoughtsMaster has the power to turn back the tide” (“The Master-Disciple Bond,” Hong Yin Vol. II)
All distracting thoughts disappeared.
No One Can Stop Me
The meeting began. There were about 70 people and one could hear a needle drop. Although this was not the first time I gave a speech to such a large crowd, I felt different.
Today, I walked onto the stage with the thought that I wanted to save sentient beings. I must speak well. How the audience accepted my speech would affect their future. I told myself to remain calm and keep righteous thoughts.
In the first 15 minutes I talked about work related issues. I then switched the topic.
I said, “Today is April 25 … Fifteen years ago, on April 25, 1999, 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners held a peaceful protest in Beijing.”
I explained that practitioners asked for the release of illegally arrested practitioners in Tianjin and for the right to publish Falun Gong books. The protest was peaceful although Jiang Zemin and his followers claimed that the practitioners attacked Zhongnanhai. On every anniversary, practitioners worldwide hold activities to commemorate the day.
I then talked about the staged Tiananmen self-immolation incident and the organ harvesting from living practitioners. Before I concluded my speech I told my co-workers why I practiced Falun Gong.
I spoke eloquently and my thoughts were extremely clear. The audience listened quietly and did not seem surprised. I knew Master was helping me. I knew the energy field dissolved all evil elements.
I concluded, “Falun Dafa has spread in more than 100 countries. More than a 100 million people practice it. Only the CCP has banned it. You wonder why so many people continue to practice Falun Gong despite the brutal persecution? The reason is that they benefit from the practice. If you recite 'Falun Gong is good' in times of danger you will be protected.”
After the meeting, I felt a door in my heart opened. However, two of my co-workers reported me to the managing director. He called me into his office and asked if I had talked about Falun Gong.
I admitted to have used the opportunity to talk to my co-workers about Falun Gong and said, “It won't take long for the facts about Falun Gong to be brought into the daylight. Bo Xilai and Zhou Yongkang (former high-level officials) are paying for their evil acts. Soon Jiang Zemin ( former communist leader) will be brought to justice because of initiating the persecution.”
The director listened and said, “Don't talk about Falun Gong in big meetings. It would bring problems if upper level officials would hear about it. Talk in smaller groups.” I told him that there was no need to worry.
Master told us:
“Even with just one Dafa disciple, if your righteous thoughts are strong, the power is enough to split a mountain—just one thought will do it.” (“What is a Dafa Disciple”)
The next day I met the vice director, an old classmate of mine in the hallway. He said, “You are brave. You talked about Falun Gong at the company meeting, didn't you?” I knew he was concerned for me. I told him everything was alright.
I actually wanted to ask for the names who reported me, but changed my mind. No matter who reported me, I was doing the right thing and no one could stop me.
Several months passed. Nothing unusual happened. The director trusted me as before, and so did the other employees.
