(Minghui.org) Master has told us that it is very easy for a divine being at a very high level to create a new universe with countless lives. It is also very easy for a divine being at the Tathagata level to destroy the seven billion people on Earth, to eliminate their karma, or to save them.
In the vast cosmic body, there are countless divine beings higher than the Tathagata level, so it should be easy for any one of them to save the seven billion people on Earth. So why have Dafa disciples become the only hope for humanity rather than the gods in the heavens?
In my understanding, it is not difficult to save one life or save a universe. It is easy to create a world or create a universe. The most difficult thing is to change a person's mind. This is precisely what Dafa disciples are working on right now, as we tell people about Falun Gong and expose the persecution in China. If we don't do it well, I believe that we are delaying the completion of Fa-rectification.
Looking back at what it took for Master to save us, we were ordinary people at the beginning. Master talked about qigong and taught us the exercises to improve our health. Master used a lot of science to explain the Fa in the early days, because it was what we could understand, as we had only recently started to cultivate.
Master illustrated more profound principles of the Fa step by step, raising our level of understanding. Just the same, we must take things step by step with the people of the world. If we tell a person that divine beings are going to destroy the Communist Party, without providing them with a foundation from which to understand, I believe that only a few people may be saved.
What is an effective way to save a life? We must start by talking at a level that a person can understand, taking note of their attachments, and explaining things gradually.
Besides talking to people, we should conduct ourselves well, too. Master used Shen Yun as an example to show us how to carry out our various projects. It is now the number one show in the world. People who have watched the show immediately respect and accept Falun Dafa.
I feel ashamed to talk about myself. I worked for several failed businesses, and couldn't complete projects several times. I was arrested multiple times and persecuted.
What will a person think when they see me? The persecution I endured is a result of the old forces. My understanding is that if we exhibit righteous thoughts and righteous actions, who would dare to persecute Master Li Hongzhi's disciples? I believe that we are persecuted when the old forces have a shortcoming to grab on to.
Master has repeatedly emphasized that we need to be good people in our daily lives. A businessman should run his or her business ethically and make a profit. A student should earn good grades. A laborer should be responsible for his assignments. A housewife should manage the family well.
I know many people that simply don't believe what you say, but instead focus on what you do. So we need to behave well to win their respect.
I have been studying the Fa and talking to people about the persecution. However, upon looking inside, I realize that I would often only study the Fa on the surface and didn't really improve my xinxing. When a tribulation came along, only then would I study the Fa with greater concentration.
I have clarified the truth to many people, but I feel frustrated when people don't understand me or when argue with me.
As Master said, “Dafa disciples have become almost the only hope for humanity in some regions.” (“Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005”)
I didn't quite understand this quote at first. But since Master directly addressed it, I simply took it as fact and didn't think much about it.
It was only recently that I understood that it means that we have a huge responsibility. I immediately felt that time is running out and there are so many people whom we have not yet saved.
A person can be saved by understanding right from wrong and siding with the good. The divine beings throughout the cosmic body don't have a human body in this world. They can't clarify the truth to human beings and help them understand Dafa and be saved. Only Dafa disciples can do this. We are the divine beings in the human world.
Master is also living in the human world but has left the task of clarifying the truth to us. Otherwise, if Master saved all people, there would be no mighty virtue for us.
My understanding is that Master wants us to establish our own mighty virtue so that when we return to our paradises upon consummation, the beings there will respect us. Master wants us to succeed. If we do things as Dafa disciples, Master will help us succeed.
Fellow practitioners, consider this historical moment and how lucky we are to be living now, at this time. We have no excuse not to be diligent and not to work harder to save more people.
This my understanding of why Dafa disciples have become the only hope for humanity.
