Kanping County: Close to 100 Practitioners Harassed, at Least 12 Arrested

(Minghui.org) Close to 100 Falun Gong practitioners were recently harassed in Kangping County, Liaoning Province. At least 12 practitioners were arrested.

In some instances, plainclothes officers hid near practitioners' homes. The police also left “warning letters” for the families when the practitioners were not at home.

Selected Incidents Between October 30 and November 5, 2015:

Ms. Gao Jie, Wenhua Village: Zhou Zhi and officers from the Shengli Township Police Station arrested Ms. Gao at 8:30 p.m. on October 30, 2015. She was taken to Shenyang Detention Center the next day.^.

Mr. Qi Like: Zhenbei Police Station officers went to Mr. Qi's home on October 30, but he was not there.

Ms. Wang Hongying: Officers from the Zhenbei Police Station arrested Ms. Wang and took her to the police station. Ms. Wang had illness symptoms, and her family demanded that she be released. The police eventually let her go.

Ms. Guo Shuxia, Dengtuozi Village: Officers from the Xiaochengzi Police Station went to Ms. Guo 's home on October 30, but she was not there.

Ms. Song Jixia, Yaoduan Village: Police went to Ms. Song Jixia's home to harass her entire family at about 10:30 p.m. on October 30, 2015. They said they would return the following day.

Mr. Yang Zhenyu: The director and officers from the Erniu Township Police Station arrested Mr. Yang on the morning of October 31. They took him to the Faku Detention Center.

Ms. Yang Zhehui: About six officers from the Zhenbei Police Station broke into Ms. Yang's home around 12:30 p.m. on November 1. They arrested her and her husband Mr. Guo Yi. She was taken to the Shenyang Detention Center, but failed the physical. She was released.

Mr. Wang Yaowen and Ms. Jing Xiuhua, Dongguan Township: Mr. Wang and Ms. Jing were arrested by Dongguan Township Police Station officers on the evening of November 2.

Zhang Guixia, Xiguan Township: This practitioner was arrested by the Xiguantun Township Police Station.

An Youjiang: Practitioner An was arrested when asking for the release of other practitioners at a police station on November 3.

Bai Jingjie, Shengli Township: This practitioner was arrested by Zhenbei Police Station officers on the evening of November 4.

Ms. Jiang Xiufang and Mr. Fu Lixin: The couple was arrested by Zhennan Police Station officers on November 5, and their home was ransacked.

Chen Yuchun and Zhang Lifeng: The two practitioners were arrested on November 5.
