(Minghui.org) As the oldest public parkland in Australia, Hyde Park in central Sydney has a history of over 200 years. Falun Gong practitioners often come here to tell tourists and local residents about the Falun Dafa meditation practice, as well as the violent suppression of its practitioners in China.

“Everyone Should Help”
Bates Robert, an expert specializing in higher education, thanked practitioners for raising awareness of this important topic to the public: “You've been doing very well. And with such a great effort, you deserve to applaud yourself.”
Upon hearing that Falun Gong practitioners in China are being killed for their organs, Robert said he was shocked, and said the crimes are “horrible” and “the worst.” He said harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners equates to murder.

He added, “Everyone should help to stop the brutality as much as we can.” As he signed a petition, he said he would pray for the tragedy to end sooner.
Two men working at Edmund Rice Foundation said they are aware of what is going on in China. “We always support you,” said one of the men. He said he had read about the atrocity from The Epoch Times and wished practitioners well.

Cherishing Freedom
Suyen, a woman who had fled from Cyprus to England, currently works in Australia. When first hearing about the organ harvesting crimes from The Epoch Times, she could hardly believe it. She said further reading on the internet and her own research confirmed the tragedy.
“I learned that Falun Gong is an ancient meditation system that follows the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. To me, this would be good for practitioners and the society in general.” She said no one should be mistreated for his or her belief, let alone a faith so beneficial.
Suyen was in tears upon hearing how much practitioners suffer in China. “My parents saved me from the war, and we escaped from Cyprus. I cherish freedom the same way as you do. I hope we all support each other.”
Upon hearing that more than 190,000 Chinese have filed criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin for directing the persecution of Falun Gong, she said it was a positive move and helps to bring key perpetrators to justice. “I also believe our government should pay more attention to this important matter, so that this severe human rights violation can stop.”
Rosie from England and Guillaume Fray from France said they had traveled to many countries, but this is the first time they heard something “so horrible.”
“The meditation is very peaceful, and the suppression is indeed brutal,” said Fray. “It's easy to tell who is right and who is wrong.”
