Additional Persecution News from China – October 1, 2015 (6 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4 provinces. According to this report, at least 12 practitioners were illegally arrested, the whereabouts of 1 is unknown and 1 was arrested for suing Jiang Zemin.

1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested, Whereabouts of One Unknown

3. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Lianhong and Ms. Lu Yuqing Detained
4. [Chongqing] Ms. Peng Yingbi Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin
5. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Baoyun Detained
6. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen and Ms. Jiang Yahong Detained

1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested, Whereabouts of One Unknown

Four practitioners were arrested at work by officers from the local Domestic Security Division in mid-September 2015. The arrested practitioners were Mr. Zhang Chenyao, Ms. Pan Hongli, Mr. Zhang Pan, and Ms. Jiang Yubao.

They were taken to the local police station. Mr. Zhang Chenyao and his son Mr. Zhang Pan were released that day. Ms. Pan and Ms. Jiang were detained.

Mr. Zhang Chenyao was arrested again the next afternoon. His whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Xiangyin County, Hunan Province] Mr. Li Fuqi and Ms. Liao Chan Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Li Fuqi, 64, was arrested by officers from the Dongting Police Station on September 21, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was held in the Xiangyin County Detention Center and then transferred to the Xiuhuayuanshanzhuang Brainwashing Center in Yueyang City by the Xiangyin County 610 Office.

Ms. Liao Chan, 32, was arrested by officers from the Chengguan Police Station, Miluo City, on September 17, 2015, at a practitioner’s home. She was detained in the Miluo City Detention Center and transferred to the Xiuhuayuanshanzhuang Brainwashing Center on September 23.

3. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Lianhong and Ms. Lu Yuqing Detained

Ms. Wang Lianhong and Ms. Lu Yuqing were arrested by officers from the Xiyuzhuangzi Police Station, Hongqiao District, on September 8, 2015. They are being detained in the Hongqiao District Detention Center.

4. [Chongqing] Ms. Peng Yingbi Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Peng Yingbi was arrested by officers from the Yubei District Domestic Security Division, Wangjia Police Station, and the Wangjia Residential Office, on September 21, 2015, for suing the former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin.

5. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Baoyun Detained

Ms. Liu Baoyun was arrested by officers from the Guangming Police Station in the Dongchang District, on September 29, 2015. She was detained in a police station.

6. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen and Ms. Jiang Yahong Detained

Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen and Ms. Jiang Yahong were arrested on September 29, 2015. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, computers, cell phones, disks, and other personal belongings. They are now in the Harbin City Detention Center.
