(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners displayed banners to raise awareness of the state-sanctioned crime of forced organ harvesting in China at the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
This major electronics and technology trade show concluded January 9. Over 160,000 visitors--35,000 of them from outside of America--and about 5,000 journalists attended.
During the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, practitioners displayed banners denouncing forced organ harvesting in China.
“Forced organ harvesting? Can you tell me a little more?” asked event attendees. Those who had heard about Falun Gong prisoners of conscience being killed for their organs expressed their support.
Reports of forced organ harvesting first broke in March 2006. Subsequent investigations have revealed that Jiang Zemin, former head of Chinese Communist Party who began the persecution in July 1999, gave the orders to implement this heinous plan of action. High-ranking officials such as Bo Xilai and Zhou Yongkang and government agencies including prisons, courts, the military, and hospitals have been involved.
