(Minghui.org) Having spent two years battling a severe form of acute nephritis, a 15-year-old boy made a full recovery in just three months of practicing Falun Gong. His friends and family both believed his recovery was miraculous.
A Falun Gong practitioner himself, the boy's father never seriously asked his son to practice Falun Gong until nothing seemed to cure the boy's nephritis.
The boy was diagnosed at the age of 13 when he just started junior high school in October 2011. The initial treatment was mainly Western medicine; he got hormone injections and had to be absent from school for a long time.
The disease was controlled after several months of treatment, but it recurred in August 2012. This time, the treatment had to be changed to a combination of both Western and Chinese medicine. After another year of treatment, it was controlled again.
The nearly two-year-long treatments at different hospitals consumed almost the family's entire life savings.
Not too long after the boy returned to school in September 2013, however, he had yet another relapse. This time, the hormone injections no longer worked, and the combination of Western and Chinese medicine was also no longer effective.
The father finally thought about asking his son to try Falun Gong, to which the son agreed. One week after the boy started practicing Falun Gong, he had severe reactions. He had blisters all over his body, especially on his face. After the blisters broke, they oozed.
The father explained that these were all purifying reactions, but asked the son if he wanted to go to the hospital or continue with the practice. The boy said he would like to continue to practice. The symptoms were gone in two weeks.
After a month, the protein in the boy’s urine tested normal. Another month passed, and his occult blood test was normal as well. Amazingly, the nephritis that couldn’t be cured by spending over 100,000 yuan in hospitals and on medicine for two years was cured only two months after the child started practicing Falun Gong.
After the boy recovered, he went back to school. Though he had missed school for two years, he earned one of the highest scores on the final exam.
The boy had gained quite a bit of weight as a result of side effects from all the medicines and injections. They also had negatively effected his brain. However, after practicing Falun Gong for three months, he gradually regained his normal, healthy figure. He thinks logically and behaves well.
This amazed his friends and family. They understood Falun Gong better and commented they would recommend the practice to more people.
