(Minghui.org) “Madam, thank you very much for telling us this. Please take care of yourself. You and your friends are the hope of China,” said two young Chinese men to Ms. Su, a Falun Gong practitioner, in front of Lafayette Mall in Paris, France.

After a long conversation with Ms. Su, they agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

It has become popular for Chinese to take summer vacations in Europe to shop and sightsee. When they see practitioners telling people about the shameful history of the CCP at many famous tourist spots, they are often eager to quit the Party.

Ms. Pan often tells the Chinese tourists who come to the Eiffel Tower about the movement to quit the Party. Many of them are glad to have such a chance.

She once ran into a group of Chinese government officials who refused to listen to her. One of them said, “I've been a Party member for many years. Why would I quit?”

“I guess that is because you never heard about all the wrongdoings the Party has committed,” Ms. Pan said patiently. “Researchers have concluded that the Party is responsible for the deaths of 80 million Chinese during non-war periods.

“During each political movement, the Party persecuted innocent landlords, capitalists, and other ordinary people, taking away their properties and even their lives.”

Ms. Pan showed them many photos as evidence and passed out other materials.

“Don't you know that even some high ranking officials, including provincial level Party heads, have quit the Party? The Party is about to fall. All I am trying to tell you is that you don't want to be a part of it when that day comes. For your own good future, I hope you quit.”

In the end, every one of the 18 tourists in that group quit the Party. The man who said he loved the Party told Ms. Pan that he would tell his friends and family back in China what he had encountered in Paris.

“Nowadays, more and more Chinese people recognize that the Party is evil, and they are willing to quit using their real names,” Ms. Pan said.

Mr. Li had the same feeling about the tour guides at Lake Malaren in Stockholm, Sweden.

Local Falun Gong practitioners went to Stockholm City Hall, a famous tourist spot at Lake Malaren, every weekend this summer to tell people about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and the trend to quit the Party.

Mr. Li has witnessed many tour guides change.

“Before, many of them did not understand what we were doing. Some of them have now quit the Party on their own. Sometimes, they even help us to pass out materials to tourists and talk to them.

“There was one guide that cursed us every time she saw us. We kept trying to patiently talk to her. Gradually, she changed her attitude. She now always waves to us. Sometimes she stops and watches us doing the Falun Gong exercises. She even expressed an interest in learning Falun Gong.

“Once, two tour guides asked what I was doing. I talked to them for a long time and gave them informational materials. In the end, they said that now they have a good understanding of what it means to quit the Party and will be able to help convince their customers to quit, too.

“We have become friends with many tour guides. We even share our food with them if they are too busy to get breakfast.”

Practitioners sometimes run into tourists who have negative attitudes and attack them. When that happens, some of the tour guides step in and ease the tension, helping the tourists to come to a better understanding of what practitioners are doing.

“Many people are shocked by the brutality of the persecution in China, especially the organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. Once people learn the truth, they are willing to quit the Party,” said Mr. Li.
