Additional Persecution News from China – June 11, 2014 (14 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 12 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Chongqing] Ms. Li Yuansu Brutally Tortured

Ms. Xiao Shaogui, 73, and Ms. Li Yuansu were arrested on the morning of May 16, 2014, by officers from the Xuanhua Police Station, and taken to the Yongchuan Detention Center.

Ms. Xiao accidentally slipped and fell in the detention center on June 2. Afterwards, she could not move her legs. The detention center officials notified Ms. Xiao's family to take her home. Her family went to the detention center, and carried her back on a stretcher on June 5.

Ms. Li Yuansu began a hunger strike to protest being persecuted as soon as she arrived at the detention center. She was force-fed. For several days, her left hand was handcuffed to her left foot, and her right hand and foot were also handcuffed together. It was very difficult for her to walk. She is now very weak.

2. [Beijing] Mr. Yue Naiming Detained for One Month

Mr. Yue Naiming and a female practitioner in her seventies were arrested and taken to a police station by officers from the Ganjiakou Police Station in the Haidian District on the afternoon of April 26, 2014.

The police took a notebook computer, a printer, Falun Dafa books, copies of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and other materials, over 10,000 yuan in cash, and other personal belongings.

Mr. Yue was taken to the Haidian District Detention Center. He was released on May 27, 2014.

Ms. Tian Haiying was arrested by police officer Tang Yong on the morning of June 10, 2014, for talking to people about Falun Gong.

4. [Qichun County, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Ying Detained

Ms. Zhang Ying is being held in the Wuxue City Detention Center.

5. [Ye County, Henan Province] Ms. Li Xiuhua Detained

Ms. Li Xiuhua was arrested by officer Gao Fuzhong from the Domestic Security Division on June 7, 2014. She is being held in the Xixie Detention Center in Pingdingshan City.

6. [Muling City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liang Yumin and Mr. Lu Yonghe Arrested

Mr. Liang Yumin and Mr. Lu Yonghe were arrested on the morning of June 3, 2014.

7. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Xiaoling's Home Search Ordered by 610 Office

Ms. Wang Xiaoling's home was monitored, surrounded, and searched by the police on June 1, 2014. They took a printer and a DVD burner. She is now being constantly monitored.

8. [Ning'an City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Shujuan Arrested

Ms. Zhang Shujuan was arrested on the morning of June 10, 2014.

9. [Yanshan County, Hebei Province] Ms. Xing Xiuhua and Ms. Li Shuxia Detained

Ms. Xing Xiuhua and Ms. Li Shuxia were arrested on June 8, 2014, for telling people about Falun Gong, and taken to the Cangzhou Detention Center.

10. [Beijing] Ms. Gao Xiurong Arrested

Ms. Gao Xiurong was arrested about five days ago.

11. [Dachang County, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Xiuying Remains in Custody at Brainwashing Center

Ms. Liu Xiuying has been held the Langfang Brainwashing Center for approximately two months.

12. [Guangde County, Anhui Province] Mr. Huang Junrong and Other Practitioners Arrested

On the afternoon of June 9, 2014, officers from the Domestic Security Division broke into the home of Mr. Huang Junrong's daughter. They ransacked the place and arrested Mr. Huang.

Mr. Chen and Ms. Zheng Qin were also arrested along with Mr. Huang. All three practitioners are now home on bail guaranteed by their families.

13. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Li Sanmei Beaten by Police

Ms. Li Sanmei was taken to the Yingfeng Police Station. She was beaten by Pan Cunyan and other officers. Ms. Li suffered numerous injuries and her face became swollen.

14. [Shanghai] After Case Rejected by Procuratorate Three Times, Police Fabricate More Evidence to Charge Ms. Yang Manye

Officers from the Shanghai Domestic Security Division are fabricating more evidence to charge Ms. Yang Manye. Her case was returned by the Putuo District Procuratorate three times due to insufficient evidence. Ms. Yang was arrested last October and has been detained ever since. This was the fifth time she was arrested due to practicing Falun Gong.
