(Minghui.org) Mr. Yuan Jiyue is a Falun Gong practitioner from Huangmei, Hubei Province. On the morning of May 15, 2014, he was drying wheat in front of his home. It was nearly 10 a.m. when a black car arrived and three police officers dressed in plainclothes got out of the car. They said nothing, just pushed him down, forced him into their car, and drove away.
When Mr. Yuan was being taken away, his wife was out back washing clothes and was not aware of what had happened until her neighbors told her. Their son and daughter-in-law work a distance away, so their six-year-old grandson lives with them. A week after the arrest, no one knew what had happened to Mr. Yuan, or even where he was, and his wife was very worried.
After Mr. Yuan, 66, started to practice Falun Gong in 1997, his health improved, and he has remained healthy these past 17 years. Mr. Yuan, who lives by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, has a very good reputation in the neighborhood and was once elected as a team leader.
It is now known that the officers who arrested Mr. Yuan were Chen Yunyue and Huang Wei from the domestic security division in the county and someone from the Konglong Police Station.
In recent years, Chen and Huang have been actively involved in carrying out the persecution of Falun Gong. On May 10, 2012, they illegally arrested practitioner Ms. Dai Meixia. After that they arrested practitioner Mr. Lu Hualiang. Just a month ago, they persecuted practitioner Ms. Liu Guirong from Caishan to death. They then went to Jiujiang to arrest practitioner Ms. Xie Jinping, who is a kindergarden principal. Four of the arrested practitioners are still in detention.
