(Minghui.org) I'm a 45-year-old employee of a state enterprise. I started practicing Falun Gong in 2010. Within a very short time, all the illnesses that had plagued me for 20 years disappeared. My parents, brothers and sisters, and husband were greatly surprised as they watched me turn into a youthful looking, healthy person. Everyone said that I had been cured. I truly feel that the Buddha Law can resolve all issues, even those that are beyond the ability of human beings. Revered Master has given me a second life.
When I was in my twenties I began suffering from all kinds of illnesses, including rheumatic heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and lumbar disc protrusion. The worst was piriformis syndrome, which caused a severe deficiency in my energy and blood. I also suffered from hepatitis B, tinnitus, and poor vision. In short, I was very sick, and often wallowed in self-pity. I went from one major hospital to another, but the treatments were of no help. I also tried acupuncture, massage, and Chinese herbal medicine, as well as a variety of folk prescriptions, but nothing worked. I even asked someone who was possessed to help, and was told that I had to burn paper to get better. I went to see all kinds of doctors and spent a lot of money, but nothing helped. Every day I lived in misery and pain.
One day I found a doctor who was to have a great influence in my life. He was in his forties, and was very professional and kind. When I went to see him the first time, he said with confidence, “Your illnesses will be cured.” I was doubtful and said, “My problems are very difficult for current modern medicine to cure. How can you be so sure?” He said, “Don't worry. You will be cured completely.” I was pleased and said, “If you can cure me, I'll treat you to a feast in a grand restaurant. How much money do you want for the treatment? Give me a figure.” He said, “Don't worry. I won't charge you any money, but you will be cured.” During the treatment, this doctor seemed very nice. He not only treated my illnesses, but also told me a lot of principles, such as why people get sick and the meaning in life, etc. He also wrote down a few poems and asked me to recite them when I got back home. Six months later, he introduced me to Falun Dafa. I'm so grateful to this Falun Dafa practitioner.
The first time I picked up the book Zhuan Falun tears ran down my face without my knowing it. For six months I cried every time I picked up the book. I couldn't express my excitement and happiness in words. It's such a wonderful feeling. For the first time I felt that my life in this human world was worthwhile, and that I had found at last what I had been unconsciously seeking.
When I read the book for the third time, I felt that I could see things more clearly, and my body regained strength. The hearing returned to my left ear, and my back, which was bent for over twenty years due to illnesses, also straightened up. The dropsy in my body also disappeared. My complexion turned from yellowish gray to rosy pink, and my hands and feet also began to feel warm. My whole body felt light and relaxed.
Less than a month after I started reading the book, Master purified my body and I had diarrhea for a few days. I felt warm currents running through my whole body as I was doing the exercises, and I had endless energy. I could never imagine something so wonderful!
After I started practicing, I was able to eat many things that I couldn't eat in the past. I was able to do all kinds of chores and work that had previously been beyond my ability. I truly experienced the wonders of Dafa.
Most miraculously, my “tennis elbows,” and thin and weak legs with shrunken muscles due to piriformis syndrome, all returned to normal and I completely regained my good health.
I'm a new Dafa practitioner. I was completely changed for the better after obtaining the Fa. I previously had been very hot-tempered and stubborn. I feared nothing and behaved like a man, without the slightest gentleness of a woman. My entire family felt that I was very difficult to get along with, as I wouldn't tolerate any criticism.
After I started to practice Falun Dafa, I turned into a new person... gentle, refined, and considerate of others. I was no longer so strong-headed, and learned to look inward and cultivate myself. One day my husband said to me, “You've turned into a new person. Keep practicing!”
I realize that since I'm a new practitioner, I need to catch up with veteran practitioners in terms of Fa study, cultivation, and truth-clarification. I have been steadfast however. During the past three years, I've conducted myself according to Master's requirements. I attend group Fa study every day, share cultivation experiences with veteran practitioners and do the exercises. I also clarify the truth to people and do my best to keep up with the progress of Fa-rectification.
Master plucked me from hell and helped eliminate my karmic debts. How can I not be strict with myself and do my best to be worthy of Master's salvation and sentient beings' expectations?
I'm determined to fulfill my historic mission. Apart from work, I study the Fa in the morning every day. In the afternoon I go out to clarify the truth, post truth-clarification posters, and send recorded phone messages. I send righteous thoughts along with fellow practitioners, and participate in rescuing fellow practitioners who are arrested for their beliefs. I try to spend all my spare time studying the Fa and properly positioning myself. I know that only by cultivating ourselves well can we save more sentient beings.
I would like to share a few miraculous incidents:
Passing Tests with Righteous Thoughts
When I first obtained the Fa, my parents and my husband were against it. My parents kept watching me, and talked to me several times. My younger brother and sister also talked with me many times. I didn't listen to them and kept practicing. Once, while I was attending group Fa study, my mother tricked me by saying that our house was on fire. When I got back home, she beat me and tried to force me to give up practicing, but I didn't give in.
Another time, they refused to allow me to go out, and followed me around. I went to a relative's house. My mother came with a big rolling pin the size of a baseball bat. As soon as she arrived she started beating me with it. She hit my back, arms, and legs, Everywhere she hit me turned black and blue. I managed to get away.
I could have been crippled and bed-ridden from such a severe beating. However, I'm a cultivator, and I recovered in just over ten days. My colleagues said to me in surprise, “How could you have recovered so quickly from such a severe beating?” I told them, “You have witnessed the miraculous power of Dafa.”
My husband works in a state enterprise. He and my entire family were worried that his future would be affected. I said, “I've been sick for so many years. None of you could imagine the pain I suffered. I had to be given emergency treatment twice to survive. I've suffered more than most people. You absolutely cannot stop me from practicing.”
My husband then threatened me with a divorce. I said to him, “Fine. So be it. I'm not afraid. I've regained my health from practicing Falun Gong. None of you can stop me. If you don't allow me to practice Falun Dafa, then be prepared to pay for my medical treatment and take turns looking after me. Which one of you is willing to do that?” They were all silent.
When my husband saw that I was not afraid of a divorce, he dropped the idea. Everything returned to normal. I still go out every day and no one tries to stop me. They all say, “Be careful of your safety. Try to come back early.”
“When one person obtains the Fa, the whole family will benefit”
My father was diagnosed with bladder cancer in Beijing and underwent surgery. The doctors said that he also needed chemotherapy treatment. He was given another check-up when he was discharged from the hospital. The result showed that he didn't have cancer at all. The doctors were stunned and said, “He showed all the symptoms of the disease, and couldn't possibly have been wrongly diagnosed!”
In the end the head of the hospital refunded the cost of the chemotherapy. It was truly the case that, “When one person obtains the Fa, the whole family will benefit.” ("Teaching the Fa and Answering Questions in Jinan" from Zhuan Falun Fajie)
Maintaining Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions
In March 2013, during the second year of my cultivation, I was distributing Shen Yun CDs with another practitioner when someone reported us, and we were stopped by police in a supermarket. The police told me they wanted to search me, and that I needed to cooperate with them. I said, “No, I won't. I won't go with you.” I sent righteous thoughts to stop them. I thought, “No one can move me, because I'm Master's disciple and what I'm doing is the most righteous thing in the universe. No one is worthy of interfering with me.” In the end they didn't dare touch me.
The practitioner I was with knew that I had a whole bag of Shen Yun CDs with me. In order to protect me, she told the police, “I'll go with you.” The police also ordered me to go with them, but I refused. They took her away around 3:00 p.m., but before 6:00 p.m. she was able to walk out free, thanks to her righteous thoughts.
I was very grateful to the fellow practitioner. I'm a new practitioner, and she protected me without any consideration for herself, and with no fear.
Validating the Miraculous Power of Dafa
Another miraculous incident took place when I was planning to visit another new practitioner who was experiencing some severe thought karma. The old forces tried to stop me. I told her in the morning that I would come to see her, but that afternoon I cut my foot deeply on a piece of glass, and was bleeding badly. When I got home, I started sending righteous thoughts to completely deny the old forces' persecution.
I sat cross-legged for an hour, and my foot stopped bleeding and the swelling disappeared. My foot was back to normal the next day. When I went to work, my superior said to me, “It's such a deep cut. You'd better rest for a few days.” I said, “My foot is fine now.” They could not believe that the cut healed so quickly. But I know why. I'm a Dafa disciple and Master is protecting me.
Master is by Our Sides at All Times
I was making some bean paste one day in January 2013, using a pressure cooker. When I opened the lid before all the pressure was let out, I heard a loud sound and the entire room was covered with bean paste. I was stunned. I held one thought: Master, help me! When I looked, my face and my upper body were not injured at all, and I only had some burns near my crotch, where there were some big blisters.
I sent righteous thoughts to completely deny the persecution by the old forces. I sat cross-legged for an hour, and gradually the big red patch on my skin from the burns was greatly reduced, and I didn't feel much pain. I kept doing the exercises, and four days later, all the burns were healed.
Again, people found it incredible that my injuries healed so quickly without any treatment, and that there was not even a mark on my face or body. Once again I felt Master's presence, taking care of us and protecting us at all times. With the Fa and Master with us, all difficulties can be resolved.
Disintegrating the Evil with Righteous Thoughts
The second year after I started practicing Falun Gong, the CCP agents in our city planned to organize a big chorus to celebrate its anniversary “July 1st.” Our workplace has always come first in this annual event. When I heard the news I started sending righteous thoughts to disintegrate the plan and to stop our workplace from participating.
A few days later, I heard that the chorus in our workplace had been canceled. I would have had to participate had it not been canceled, as I was an anchor person in our bureau for such events, and if I had refused to participate, I would have been suspended. I had stopped the evil with righteous thoughts. I understand that as long as Dafa disciples act according to the requirements of the Fa, Master will help us resolve all difficulties.
Conclusion
I'm so very fortunate to have come into Dafa when the Fa-rectification is progressing towards its last stage, and validate the Fa and do the three things, like veteran practitioners. I realize that I obtained the Fa late, and I must hurry and keep up with the progress of Fa-rectification, and return home with Master.
