Additional Persecution News from China – December 4, 2014 (17 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 16 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 6 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 22 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Tianjin] Mr. Jiang Shuyun and Ms. Zhu Shiqi Arrested

Mr. Jiang Shuyun and his wife Ms. Zhu Shiqi were arrested at home by officers from the Daliang Police Station in the morning of December 2014. The police ransacked their home and confiscated printers, computers, and Falun Gong books.

2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Larong Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Zhang Larong was arrested and taken to the Liujiaotingjie Police Station on November 20, 2014, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was held at the Erzhigou No. 1 Detention Center for ten days and then taken to a brainwashing center.

3. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Yuxia and Ms. Zhao Jianying Detained

Ms. Wang Yuxia and Ms. Zhao Jianying, arrested on November 30, 2014, are being held at the Changli County Detention Center.

4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ma Dongmei and Ms. Wang Yusi Sentenced

Ms. Ma Dongmei and Ms. Wang Yusi, both sentenced to a six-year prison term, were transferred from the Dalian Detention Center to the Liaoning Women’s Prison on December 2, 2014.

5. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wu Xibi Arrested

Ms. Wu Xibi, 65, was arrested at home by officers from the Juxian Town Police Station and Anju Police Station on September 18, 2014. The police confiscated computers and printers.

Ms. Wang Bin was arrested in late May 2014, and her whereabouts is unknown.

7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Cao Ailing, Ms. Yu Xueyu, Ms. Yue Min, and Ms. Wu Bingqin were arrested on November 30, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are being held at the Mouping Detention Center.

Mr. Tan Guodong was arrested by officers from the Li County Police Department on December 1, 2014.

9. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Fu Xuebing Detained

Ms. Fu Xuebing, arrested in July 2014 by officers from Mei County and the Meijiang District Domestic Security Division, was sentenced to a seven-year prison term by the Meijiang Court. She is being held at the Qinhuang Detention Center.

10. [Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhao Huicheng and Ms. Wan Maorong Arrested

Mr. Zhao Huicheng and Ms. Wan Maorong were arrested by officers from the Tumen Town Police Station on December 1, 2014, for distributing table calendars containing information about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Zhao was released and Ms. Wan was taken to the Mianzhu City Tianhe Residential Committee.

11. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Ran Xiurong Harassed

Ms. Ran Xiurong was taken to an office by He Xuan from the Security Department of the University of Electronic Science and Technology in Chengdu on December 1, 2014 and brainwashed.

She was not released until she wrote the guarantee statement.

12. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Liu Yuping Detained

Ms. Liu Yuping was arrested by officers from the Hongshan District Police Department in the afternoon of November 25, 2014. She is being held at the Kalaqinqi Detention Center.

13. [Junan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Yuzhen Arrested

Mr. Wang Yuzhen was arrested by officers from the Zhenxi Police Station on November 28, 2014, for distributing calendars containing information about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police confiscated all Falun Gong books, NTDTV satellite dishes and a television set. She was released that afternoon.

14. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Sun Guohua, Ms. Lu Juan, and Ms. Wei Fengqin were arrested on the morning of December 3, 2014, by Liu Jianxin from the Changtu County Domestic Security Division and officers from the Hebei Police Station.

Mr. Zhang Guomin, Mr. Fei Changli, Mr. Van Decai were arrested and taken to a detention center on November 26, 2014, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

16. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Huang Weizhong Tortured

Mr. Huang Weizhong was arrested at home by local officers on April 18, 2014. The police confiscated a printer, printing paper, and other materials.

He was sentenced to a three-year prison term by the Haizhu District Court on April 22, 2014. He was tortured at the Nanzhou Detention Center.

17. [Tianjin] Ms. Ding Deen Arrested

Ms. Ding Deen, 71, was arrested by officers from the Liqizhuang Police Station on November 18, 2014, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was released on November 20, 2014.
