Mr. Niu Xibao Arrested Again After Starting His Own Repair Business

(Minghui.org) Officers and agents from the 610 Office in Qingdao City, Shandong Province, illegally arrested Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Niu Xibao (牛西雹) and Mr. Zhang Dinggang (张定钢) on October 25, 2014. The police took Mr. Niu's keys and later broke into his apartment when no one was at home. They took away two of Mr. Niu's cars and 100,000 yuan (US$ 16,000).

Mr. Niu was fired as a teacher and sentenced to three and half years for practicing Falun Dafa eight years ago. Upon release, he started a new life and began an electronic repair shop. His most recent arrest left no one to run the shop and his family without financial support. Mr. Niu is being detained at Pudong Detention Center without being charged with any crime.

Agents from the 610 Offices in Qingdao and Licang District and officers from Licang Police Department and Licun Police Station ambushed Mr. Niu at his garage on October 25. None of these men wore uniforms or showed identification.They arrested him and three other practitioners who were with him: Mr. Zhang, Mr. Wang Detong (王德铜) and Mr. Li Hongsheng (李洪升). During the arrest, an officer kicked Mr Zhang and fractured his leg. The practitioners were detained in the Licun Police Station in Licang District. They quickly took away the practitioners' keys after a body search.

The agents and officers used Mr. Niu's key to get into his apartment the next day. While no one was at home, these men took away computers and other electronic devices Mr. Niu's customers had left for repair and 100,000 yuan. They also took Mr. Niu's van and his son's new car. Mr. Niu's family asked to return their belongings, but were refused after several requests. The officer in charge has the last name Liang (梁) and his phone number is [phone].

Mr. Niu's parents are in their 80s, and he is happily married with a wife and a son. He used to teach at the 13^th Middle School in Chengyang District, Qingdao. He lost this position on May 6, 2006 because he refused to give up practicing Falun Dafa. To support his family, he opened an electronic repair shop. His honesty won trust from his customers and his business expanded. His family is unable to run the shop since his arrest.
