(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Zhao Suqin and her daughter Ms. Liu Yanjie, Ms. Wang Hua, and Ms. Liu Yumei, all from Weiziyu Town, Xinbin County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, were arrested in Zhaojia Village, Pingdingshan Town, on December 19, 2013.

Those involved in the arrest were officers from the Pingdingshan Town Police Station and Xinbin County Domestic Security Division.

The four practitioners went to the village approximately 30 kilometers away from their town in a taxicab to distribute calendars with information about Falun Gong door to door. The village cadre reported them.

On their return home, their taxicab was intercepted by a police van on Zhaojia Road. Officers arrested the four plus the driver and took them to the Pingdingshan Town Police Station.

The four practitioners’ homes at Weiziyu Town were ransacked around 4:30 p.m. that day by officers from the Weiziyu Police Station, including its director, Yu Xin. Two officers were from the Xinbin County Domestic Security Division and three from Pingdingshan Police Station, including director Wang Yu.

Officers broke into Ms. Wang's home and confiscated a laptop computer, a printer, three cell phones, Falun Gong books, DVDs, and 5,285 yuan. Her daughter-in-law refused to sign the search warrant.

Officers also ransacked Ms. Liu Yanjie’s home. They confiscated two copies of Zhuan Falun, five boxes of printing paper, five packages of photo paper, 416 amulets, two cell phones, seven calendars, seven booklets with information about the persecution of Falun Gong, five discs, as well as a stapling machine and staples.

While ransacking the homes, Wang Yu demanded information from the practitioners' families about who often visited them.

Officers later took the practitioners and the driver to the Xinbin County Domestic Security Division and ordered them to take off their clothes for a body search.

Wang Yu and three other officers from the Pingdingshan Town Police Station went to Ms. Wang’s home again on December 21, 2013. They threatened her family, and her daughter-in-law was forced to sign the search warrant.

Officers returned the clothes Ms. Wang wore on the day when she was arrested, but her family found that her gold and silver jewelry was not included.

All four practitioners are now in criminal detention in the Fushun No.1 Detention Center. Ms. Wang and Ms. Liu Yanjie's families are hiring lawyers from Beijing. The driver was released on bail.

The 160 calendars that were distributed were collected and confiscated. More details will be reported when they become available.
