Four-year-old's Malignant Pituitary Tumor Disappears

 (Minghui.org) I became a Falun Dafa practitioner only two months ago, but in that short time I experienced something extraordinary.

Both my husband and I, in our 50s, had lost our jobs and so worked on odd jobs to keep our heads above water. We have one daughter who is married with a son who is four years old.

The little boy complained of a headache, which recurred several times a day for several days. He suffered quietly, didn't cry or fuss.

He was examined at a hospital, where he was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor and needed to undergo surgery. This was a big shock.

I went online with the help of some people and found that this is an incurable illness. One had to take hormones for the rest of one's life and in a worst case scenario, the condition could lead to death. Someone told me that fresh ocean air might help. We listened to others' suggestions, but nothing helped. His father's mother and his father decided to take him to Beijing to have the operation.

Receiving Life-saving Information

Someone told me that practicing Falun Dafa can cure illnesses. I asked where I could learn it and Teacher paved the way for me.

Three practitioners came to my home to help me install the NTDTV dish so that we could watch the NTDTV programs (an independent Chinese-language television station that broadcasts news uncensored by the Chinese Communist Party). These people told us lots of stories about people being healed after practicing Falun Dafa. Both my daughter and I were amazed.

We couldn't get tickets for going to Beijing. One of the practitioners said, “Don't rush to Beijing. Perhaps it is predestined that you did not get the tickets, and Teacher wants you to learn Falun Dafa. Why don't you teach the child to recite 'Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' If he is fortunate enough, Teacher will cleanse his body and he will be cured.” I responded, “Can I do the exercises with you? I heard that the whole family will benefit if one member does the exercises.”

The practitioner said, “Teacher will help you as long as you trust Teacher and Dafa, and follow what Teacher said.” I knew this practitioner from work, and I trusted him when I was still working. Now he is over eighty years old and looks very healthy, and he had no reason to lie to me. So I believed him and decided to learn Falun Dafa.

Opening One's Eyes to the Truth about Falun Dafa

My son-in-law was able to get a train ticket for the trip to Beijing. My daughter said that she had made the appointment for the operation on October 9, and my grandson needed to stay in the hospital beforehand for observation.

I said, “Can the hospital cure him? The cases described on the Internet were terrible. We might as well return the train tickets. Didn't we decide to teach the child to recite 'Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.'?” My daughter said, “Who can guarantee that he will be cured if we practice Falun Dafa and recite a few sentences?” My daughter would not return the tickets, and we had a fight, so my daughter left with the child.

I cried loudly, and fought with my husband when he tried to calm me down. I skipped a meal and did not know what to do, so I picked up the phone and called the practitioner who had introduced me to Falun Dafa. Seeing the untouched food on the table when he came over, he laughed. He spent a long time telling me the facts about Falun Dafa. He said that people all have their own fate and that Teacher said:

“You can’t interfere with other people’s lives, you can’t control their fates, be it your wife’s, your kid’s, your parents’, or your sibling’s. Is that something you decide?” (Zhuan Falun)

He also said,“If you truly believe in Teacher and Dafa, the first thing is to behave as Teacher said. Can your crying solve the problem? If it can, why don't you ask all you family to cry with you?” I laughed and stopped crying.

I took my daughter and grandson to the practitioner's home. They told us lots of true stories about Falun Dafa and the greatness of Teacher. My daughter was convinced, and my grandson also listened quietly. I was relieved, and asked him to find two copies of Zhuan Falun for us. We also canceled the tickets to Beijing.

Stepping onto the Cultivation Path

We could not wait to recite “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” after getting home. We studied Zhuan Falun intently, with the child listening. There was a Fa study group near my daughter's house. My daughter and grandson went there to study the Fa, do the exercises, and send forth righteous thoughts.

They went to the study group twice a week. Everyone there was elderly and had begun cultivation before the persecution of Falun Gong and the atmosphere was harmonious. They were happy to help my daughter and liked my grandson.

The child at first was a bit uneasy, but started to listen to others reading the Fa. He was able to sit down to meditate, and listened to his mother reading Zhuan Falun. He also tried to imitate us when we sent forth righteous thoughts and did the exercises, correcting our movements by telling us that our hands should be this way or that way.

Experiencing a Miracle

My grandson has not relapsed during the past two months. He is active and jumping and running like the other children in the kindergarten.

Now the child is healthy again. His father's parents no longer complain about not having the surgery. The grandmother said, “This is wonderful. The child is cured, the adults are no longer worried, and we saved 100,000 yuan. Falun Dafa is truly wonderful. I am a believer now.”

My daughter and grandson were very diligent going to the Fa-study. They will come to my house the night before the study since their home is too far from the Fa-study site. The child learned all five exercises. Before even putting on his clothes when he wakes up in the morning, he says, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

We thank Teacher, and our relatives and friends have quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliations. They all carry the protective amulet and recite “Falun Dafa is good.”

My daughter, grandson and I have obtained the Fa. We will diligently cultivate to the end, will learn from the veteran practitioners, and will tell people the facts using our own experiences to save more people.
