Additional Persecution News from China – November 26, 2013 (14 Reports)

 (Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 5 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during detention, and at least 11 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Zigong, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wang Dianyi Arrested

Mr. Wang Dianyi from the Zijing District in Zigong was arrested by officers from the Jiepai Town Police Station when he went to Jiepai Town, Weiyuan County, to talk to people about Falun Gong on the morning of October 27, 2013. He was held at the Weiyuan Drug Rehabilitation Center for 15 days.

Mr. Wang was once arrested by the 610 Office of the Huidong Police Department on February 23, 2004. He was sentenced to a three-year prison term.

2. [Haikou, Hainan Province] Mr. Pan Xinliang Detained

Over a dozen Haikou practitioners, including Mr. Pan Xinliang and Mr. Sun Tingbai, were arrested in May 2013. Mr. Pan is held in the Haikou Second Detention Center.

3. [Shandong Province] Zhangqiu and Liaocheng Education Systems Poison Teachers and Students with Lies

The Zhangjiu Education and Sports Bureau has launched events during which it slanders Falun Gong since November 5, 2013, aiming at more than 100,000 elementary and high school students. The events include class meetings, handwritten newspapers, blackboard newspapers, public letters, and so on. The bureau has denigrated Falun Gong many times in public letters and is training students in how to oppose practitioners clarifying the truth.

Dongchangfu District Branch of Liaocheng Eduction Bureau also distributed a so-called “public letter” to elementary and high school students recently, slandering Falun Gong.

4. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yukun Arrested

Ms. Liu Yukun was arrested at home and taken to the Huigong Police Station in Shenhe District on November 19, 2013.

5. [Liaocheng, Shandong Province] Mr. Sun Xian'gang and Ms. Li Bingling Detained

Officers from the Gaotang County Domestic Security Division and the Chiping County Domestic Security Division broke into Mr. Sun Xian'gang's home in Chiping and arrested him and Ms. Li Bingling at noon on October 25, 2013. The police ransacked his home and confiscated a computer, printer, Falun Dafa books, and more items. The two practitioners are detained in the Gaotang Detention Center.

6.[Kunshan, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Sha Jinbao Arrested

Ms. Sha Jinbao, 69, was arrested by officers from Qiandeng Town Police Station when she distributed materials about Falun Gong in Datanghuayuan, Qiandeng, on September 22, 2013. She was detained for 13 days and has been released.

7. [Chongqing] Mr. Luo Jianjiu Arrested

Mr. Luo Jianjiu from Kai County was arrested by police when he went to the Linjiang Police Station to get some things settled on the afternoon of November 18, 2013. The police also ransacked his home.

8. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhu Dazhen Transferred to Prison

Ms. Zhu Dazhen from Kai County is in her 60s and was arrested by the local police when she went to Jiulongshan, Kai County to talk to people about Falun Gong on May 1, 2013. The police ransacked her home and took her to the Kai County Detention Center. Ms. Zhu was transferred to the Chongqing Women's Prison on November 1, 2013.

9. [Tianjin] Ms. Sun Guiping Arrested

Ms. Sun Guiping from Ninghe County went to a farmers' market to talk to people about Falun Gong on November 23, 2013. She was clandestinely monitored by a plainclothes policeman with a video camera. She was taken to a local police station, but released that afternoon.

10. [Xingtang, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Shuanma Detained

Mr. Zhang Shuanma was taken to the Shijiazhuang No. 2 Detention Center on November 24, 2013.

11. [Qianan, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Airong and Ms. Li Yanzhi Arrested

Ms. Liu Airong and Ms. Li Yanzhi from Hezhuang Village, Wuchongan Township, Qianan, were arrested by officers from the Qianan Domestic Security Division when they distributed calendars containing Falun Gong information in Hongyukou Village, Wuchongan Township on the morning of November 25, 2013.

12. [Shanghai] Ms. Huang Qiaoqin Detained

Ms. Huang Qiaoqin was arrested in Xuhui by local police officers on November 25, 2013. Her home was ransacked. She is being held at the Tianyaoqiaolu Branch of the Xuhui Police Department.

13. [Qingyang, Gansu Province] Ms. Cao Guiling Sentenced to a Three-Year Prison Term

The Xifeng District Court tried Ms. Cao Guiling from the Xifeng District, Qingyang on September 20, 2013. The court sentenced her to three years in prison in November 2013.

14. [Yancheng, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Cao Fulin Sentenced to a Five-Year Prison Term

Mr. Cao Fulin, Ms. Qian Fengcheng, and Ms. Lu Aie were arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Yandu District Police Department on April 21, 2010. The Yandu Court sentenced Mr. Cao to five years in prison in May 2011. He was taken to the Hongzehu Prison.
