1 . [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Xiuling Detained

While distributing informational materials about Falun Gong on the evening of September 9, 2013, Ms. Sun Xiuling was reported to the authorities by Li Yupeng, a brother of the Communist Party secretary in Weishan Village. Ms. Sun was arrested by officers from the Tushan Police Station. She is being held at the Laizhou Detention Center.

2. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ge Xiuli and Her Daughter Arrested

Ms. Ge Xiuli and her daughter were arrested at home by Fang Chunsheng, director of the Liuji Town Police Station, and officers from the Jing County Police Department at around noon on September 13, 2013. Police confiscated approximately 1,000 yuan in cash, a computer, a printer, and other items.

3. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Chunrong Arrested

Ms. Liu Chunrong was arrested at the Jinhua Market on the afternoon of September 12, 2013, while speaking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

4. [Xiangtan City, Hunan Province] Ms. Suo Yan and Mr. Liu Heqing Detained

Ms. Suo Yan, 44, and Mr. Liu Heqing were recently arrested when they went to a rural village to distribute informational materials about Falun Gong. They are being held at the Xiangtan City Detention Center.

5. [Jingmen City, Hubei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Chai Yuhua, Ms. Fu Chuanying, Ms. Jiang Yuying and another practitioner were recently arrested by captain Jia Zhenjun and other officers from the Dongbao Police Station's Domestic Security Division. Ms. Chai and Ms. Jiang have been released. The other two practitioners were sent to the Huyaguan Detention Center.

Mr. Xia Mingliang was arrested by the 610 Office agents on September 9, 2013. His whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Qu Bin in Critical Condition Due to Abuse in Detention

Mr. Qu Bin was arrested in Paoya County on the morning of August 30, 2013. Police also ransacked his home. He is currently held at the Dalian City Detention Center. As a result of the abuse in detention, he is very weak, has lost a lot of weight, and cannot walk unassisted.
