Solemn Declaration

My husband was arrested for practicing Falun Dafa in 2004. Because I am a police officer, the leader of my section put great pressure on me. I was told to “transform” him or both of us would be laid off.

Because I was afraid that I would lose my job and family, I signed a guarantee statement to not allow my husband to practice Falun Dafa. My younger sister and I also burned some Falun Dafa books. Upon my husband's return home, I told him what I had done. He made me understand that my actions were wrong, and I felt great remorse.

I solemnly declare: “Everything I have written, said and done at my workplace and at home that does not conform to Dafa is null and void. I will continue to support my husband so that he can do what he should do well, step on the cultivation path and believe in Dafa with all my heart!”

Solemn Declaration

My family are Falun Dafa practitioners. Although I was not a practitioner, I was detained several times by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) minions because of the “guilty by association” policy. Therefore, because of being deeply afraid, I did not allow my family to read Falun Dafa books and associate with fellow practitioners.

I used to feel disgust whenever I saw my family studying Falun Dafa materials. Since I did not have a clear understanding of Falun Dafa, I tore up Zhuan Falun and burned Falun Dafa books and a photo of Master Li. What I did was disrespectful to Falun Dafa and Master.

I now understand Falun Dafa because I've witnessed the miracles my relatives experienced from practicing Falun Dafa.

I now understand that what I did was wrong and regret being disrespectful to Dafa and Master.

I hereby solemnly declare: “Everything I have said and done that was disrespectful to Dafa and Master is null and void. I will distinguish good from evil and right from wrong. I will be a good person by following the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.”
