(Minghui.org) The 2013 Falun Dafa Summer Camp for Young Students was held on August 9-11, 2013, in Tainan, Taiwan's oldest city. Those who participated in the event said that their enthusiasm to diligently cultivate had been reignited.

The practitioners shared experiences, which centered around several themes, including the importance of studying the Fa, looking inward, sending righteous thoughts, and clarifying the truthto mainland Chinese. Everyone got a chance to share their cultivation experiences with the rest of the students.
Many practitioners said that their participation in the event deepened their understanding of the Fa principles.
“I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to share my cultivation experience with other young practitioners,” said one disciple. “Many of my questions were answered during the experience sharing. During group Fa study, I felt a strong, serene, and harmonious energy field surrounding all of us. I will diligently advance on the path of cultivation!”
“This experience sharing has allowed me to meet and interact with young practitioners outside of my immediate small circle,” explained a practitioner.
“Knowing your shortcoming, diligently cultivating yourself, and doing well in school, will definitely help you when clarifying the truth.”
While explaining the facts about Dafa to mainland Chinese,” said another practitioner, “I found it difficult to answer some of their more pointed questions.
“After the experience sharing, I realized that I had not paid enough attention to this matter, nor had I taken the time to familiarize myself with the informational materials that are readily available to me. As such, my truth-clarification efforts rarely achieved the desired outcome.”
The young practitioners also discussed the challenge of dealing with sentiment, lust, and desire.
Some of the questions that practitioners asked while discussing this topic included, “How can I effectively get rid of the feeling of desire?”, “What is the proper way to deal with members of the opposite sex?” and “How should we handle the feelings of lust and love that arise between a man and a woman?”
“Attending this event has helped me discover many of my hidden attachments so that I can eliminate them,” explained a young attendee.
Some practitioners said that the sharing helped them understand how to maintain proper relationships between males and females.
In the everyday world, most people don't emphasize maintaining proper male-female relationships. But practitioners know that they must be very careful when it comes to these matters.
During the entire event, males and females were separated into two groups. Some practitioners felt surrounded by a very pure and righteous field. The experience sharing sessions helped everyone have a clearer perspective on how to deal with members of the opposite sex.
On the last day of the event, the practitioners went to Anping, a district of Tainan City, to introduce people to the goodness of Falun Gong.
