(Minghui.org) To tell you the truth, I never thought of using Freegate (software that allows the user to access websites blocked by the Internet censorship in China) as a tool to save sentient beings until this year, when I saw another practitioner's experience sharing article. I realized that I could save the program to small discs at a very low cost. This would allow more people to access websites blocked by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), break through the CCP's lies, and learn the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution.
Due to my limited computer knowledge, the first time I made copies of the program, I saved Freegate to a flash drive and my friend helped me to burn it to small discs. It was quick and easy.
For the past few years I have been saving Freegate to flash drives and have passed them out to others. However, as doing so is somewhat expensive, I haven't been able to give out too many copies. After learning how to save Freegate onto the small discs, I can now distribute more, and at a lesser expense.
At first, I gave Freegate only to my friends and colleagues; then I started to give the discs to people I met in public. Now, I feel that it is very easy to give the discs out, and many people are happy to get them. There are also of course some people who avoid using the program, for fear of obtaining a computer virus or of being targeted by the CCP's cyber spies.
When I distribute Freegate, I inform people that by using it, they will be able to view any website, free of the CCP's Internet censorship, including the websites of various international media networks. Many people are very appreciative of receiving Freegate.
For example, a gentleman asked for two copies; one was for himself and the other was for his friend. One woman asked me if she could have Freegate installed on everyone's computer in her office. On another occasion, an individual accepted the software and said, “Thank you! this is a most precious gift!”
In order to better assist Master's Fa-rectification and the efforts to save sentient beings, I hope that practitioners can make good use of the Freegate software. I believe that doing so will help us accomplish our historic missions.
