(Minghui.org) I am a country woman in Shandong Province. I started practicing Falun Dafa in the winter of 1998. I was previously tormented by illnesses and was in very poor health. After I started to practice Falun Dafa, I became free of illnesses and became very energetic, so much so that I was able to shoulder all the household chores by myself.
Recently, I always had trouble with another practitioner. She and I worked together to clarify the truth to people. At first I thought that I was right and she was wrong. And I even asked others to judge who was right and who was wrong. Although most of the local practitioners agreed with me, I still felt agitated.
Later, I realized that I should look within myself to find my attachments. I spent several hours at home trying to search within but did not find my attachment until midnight when I sent righteous thoughts. I found that I could not take criticism and had not removed the attachment of saving face.
When I lay down on my bed, I noticed a ray of light emitting out from the corner of my left eye. It became brighter and brighter, bigger and bigger, and more and more beautiful. When I sat down to take a closer look, it disappeared. But it showed up again when I lay down again.
I knew that Master was encouraging me to cultivate myself more diligently, like a true practitioner. I feel so good after learning to look within in cultivation.
