(Minghui.org) Having lost his feet eleven years ago as a result of gross abuse and torture by police officers, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Xinchun, 37, was arrested again at his rental home in Qiaobei, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, on the evening of September 9, 2013. The police ransacked his home and confiscated several Falun Gong books and other personal belongings. They also arrested his mother.
Mr. Wang is being held in room 301 of the Jinshantun District Hospital in Yichun City. He is cuffed to a bed and being monitored by police officers. When his family visited him and shook him several times, he could barely open his eyes. His face was bruised and swollen and his arms were scratched in several places. He hadn't eaten anything since being admitted to the hospital. He reacted a little when he was first getting injections, but he no longer responds because has fallen into a coma.
Mr. Wang, born in 1976, is from the Jinshantun District, Yichun City. Since the Chinese communist regime started the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, Mr. Wang and his family have been arrested, detained, and fined many times, for simply adhering to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Mr. Wang was tortured and beaten dozens of times even after he became disabled. His father passed away after being harassed and threatened. His mother was sentenced to forced labor twice and tortured in a labor camp.
