A Stubborn Atheist Changed His Belief
My husband was a stubborn atheist. He never listened to my truth clarification about Falun Dafa and the persecution. In May of last year, he was diagnosed with severe osteomyelitis in his left thumb. Almost half of the bones in his left thumb were rotten and an amputation was needed. The operation was scheduled for the following morning. Both of us were really scared, as losing a thumb meant being handicapped. I told my husband: “Don't get it amputated. Let's ask the Gods for protection. A miracle will happen if you sincerely recite 'Falun Dafa is good' and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.'
My husband let me put a Dafa amulet (1) in his pocket. He also accepted my advice to sincerely and repeatedly recite “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I emphasized that it could work only if he had a sincere heart.
We told the doctors the day prior to the surgery: “We decided not to have an amputation. Please just remove the necrotic flesh.” The chief surgeon, Dr. Yan, replied: “You need to sign an agreement if you do not want to get an amputation. You are responsible for whatever the outcome is.” In my heart, I knew that we have Master and Dafa, and I was certain that a miracle would happen.
The operation went very smoothly. Every day, blood oozed from the wound when we applied new medicine and changed the dressing. It looked like it must be very painful. My sister-in-law said, “My brother must be enduring severe suffering.” While we held his arm with tears in our eyes, my husband calmly said, “It is not very painful.” I enlightened and immediately said to him, “It is because you carry the Dafa amulet and Dafa protects you.” He was quiet, as he realized that he himself experienced the benefits from Dafa.
When Dr. Yan checked the wound 10 days later, he was surprised and said: “The healing is much faster than what I expected, but osteomyelitis relapses easily. Some patients have to come back for infection treatment only 2 to 3 months after the surgery.” It has been more than a year since the operation. Not only have the rotten bones healed, but the fingernail on the thumb has also regrown.
After this incident, my whole family realized that Falun Dafa is really good. My husband now truly believes from bottom of his heart in the existence of Gods and Buddhas.
Two Professionals Quit the CCP after Understanding the Truth
On the street one day last January, I came across Mr. Wu, who used to be an engineer at my workplace. He looked old and thin. I asked him what was wrong. He replied : “My wife has fallen seriously ill and I have taken care of her day and night without getting any decent rest.” I asked: “Tell me where you live. I'll visit you sometime.”
Mr. Wu and Dr. Gu are a retired couple. Dr. Gu retired as Chief of Internal Medicine at a hospital. After Dr. Gu's retirement, she had heart problems and her health deteriorated. She became confused and could not speak clearly. I knew that Mr. Wu was a member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Thus, I wanted to clarify the truth to this couple and advise them to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, so that they would have a good future.
On Sunday, I asked my husband to stay home with our granddaughter. I went to visit the Wu family and brought milk, fruit and Dafa amulets for them. When Mr. Wu answered the door, I said: “Hi Mr. Wu. I came to see Chief Gu.” I then asked the wife: “How are you, Chief Gu? Does your heart still bother you?” When she nodded, I responded: “Your pain will be alleviated if you believe and repeatedly recite 'Falun Dafa is good' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' My sister was a physician at your hospital before she retired. She called me one night when she felt almost suffocated from chest discomfort. I told her to immediately recite these words. She did and it worked.” I then gave Dr. Gu a Dafa amulet with these words written on it, and she immediately whispered, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
I also gave a Dafa amulet to Mr. Wu. He surprised me by shouting out, “I saw these words on a 5-yuan bill the other day. It is wonderful! It is too bad that I paid my barber with that bill.”
I said to the couple: “These words, 'Falun Dafa is good' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,' are very miraculous. They can save your life when you recite them at a critical moment. People around the world have learned these words. People in more than 100 countries practice Falun Dafa. They all know that Falun Dafa heals diseases and maintains fitness. I used to have bronchitis and often coughed at work. I also had gastritis, migraines and arthritis. I used up my medical allowance and even used my husband's. I spent a lot of money and still could not get cured until I started practicing Falun Dafa. Since then, I have not taken any medicine for many years. Also, I never feel tired after taking care of my granddaughter all day long, even though it is an exhausting job. But the wicked CCP does not allow people to practice Falun Dafa. They even staged the Tiananmen Square self-immolation to frame Falun Dafa. People can clearly see that it was faked after carefully examining the video footage of the event. That Wang Jindong was covered with flames, but the plastic bottle near his feet that contained gasoline never burned. It's so obvious – wasn't it a big lie?”
Mr. Wu agreed and said: “The CCP has lied for a long, long time. We don't watch the news because it's all just lies. Those officials are so corrupt.”
I replied: “Yes, this evil party hurts people badly. This is why many smart people have done the 'three withdrawals.'” I then explained the meaning of the three withdrawals to Mr. Wu and his wife: “It means that people who joined the CCP and its affiliated organizations, the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers, should declare that they quit these organizations. If they don't, they will go with the CCP when it is destroyed by Heaven. You are still a member, right? Please renounce your membership quickly. Don't continue to be affected by it.” Mr. Wu agreed and asked his wife to also quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. She agreed with a smile. As a result, these two intellectuals happily quit the wicked party.
I said to them on my way out: “Remember the aliases you used in quitting the CCP. You will be blessed and saved since you sincerely withdrew from the wicked party.” Later, I sent them some materials containing the facts about Dafa and the persecution and read Zhuan Falun to them. I asked Dr. Gu if she understood and she clearly responded “Yes,” without any sign of confusion at all.
Note: (1) Amulets – In China, practitioners sometimes clarify the truth about Falun Dafa by giving people something small to wear or cherish, bearing a few words reminding them of the goodness of Dafa.
