(Minghui.org) I am 66 years old and have practiced Falun Dafa since 1996. Before that I had chronic heart problems and asthma. I also had a hunchback and leg pains that prevented me from walking well. Falun Dafa helped me get rid of all my ailments. I became completely healthy and could walk easily. Three months after I learned the Fa, my third eye opened. I saw celestial maidens with flowers and a swastika. The entire house was full of golden rays. I knew Teacher was encouraging me and boosting my confidence in the practice. Falun Dafa gave me a second life, I told this to everyone I met.
1. Conquering Tribulations with Righteous Thoughts
The former Chinese communist Party leader Jiang Zemin and his regime began to persecute Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) on July 20, 1999. My family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers all told me not to practice anymore. I told them that Master had saved me and Falun Dafa taught me to be a good person. I told them, “It cannot be wrong that one wants to practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Please stop believing the government's slanderous propaganda.” I began my task to clarify the truth about the persecution to people.
I lived with my son and his wife. In 2000, my husband developed lung cancer and died in 2001. Later, my daughter lost her job. She and her husband began to fight about getting a divorce. My son and his wife did not get along and she frequently let it out on their son and me. I was not frightened or stressed out by anything that happened. Through studying the Fa, I knew some of it came from the old forces' interference, and some from my attachments.
Master said in “Fa-Lecture During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference”,
“You should always remember this: I don't acknowledge any of the interference that's occurring among Dafa disciples today; all of the things that shouldn't happen are the old forces' arrangements. They see your personal cultivation as the first priority. Of course, personal Consummation is the first priority, since there's nothing more to talk about if you can't reach Consummation. But today's Dafa disciples are doing something different from the cultivation ways in every other period in history, and that's because you are shouldering a greater responsibility that surpasses your personal Consummation. Saving sentient beings and validating the Fa, these far surpass your personal cultivation, they're even greater things. And that's something that the old forces can't handle correctly, and they're interfering with you. Negate them, and face all of it with the right thoughts! ”
I began to send forth righteous thoughts to negate the old forces' arrangements. I also started memorizing the Fa. Everything I did, I tried to measure against the principles of Falun Dafa. I treated my family with a kind heart no matter what they did to me. I cooked every meal and did all the house chores. During the day, after I had done the exercises, I took my grandson to the market on my bike to do regular shopping and clarify the truth. At night, I studied the Fa. All I thought about was doing the three things well.
One time, my son and his wife were fighting and smashed the television. It did not bother me and I continued to do the meditation. When I gradually let go of my attachment to my son and daughter, the old forces stopped interfering with me. My daughter and her ex-husband got married again. My son and his wife got along again. My family had the right attitude towards Falun Dafa and began to support my practice.
2. Clarifying the Truth and Helping People to Quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Its Affiliated Organizations
I chose to clarify the truth face to face, because it was more effective. After I had read Master's articles “We Are Not Getting Political" and “Turning the Wheel Towards the Human World”, I enlightened to the fact that I needed to help more people to read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in order to dissolve the CCP. I decided to talk to as many people as I could in order to carry out my prehistoric vows.
Persuading people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations requires a lot of courage and wisdom. I needed to eliminate my attachment to fear to do what Master wants us to do without slacking off. Falun Dafa gave me righteous thoughts and courage. I was surrounded with compassion and mighty virtue. I stepped outside of the house and went to every corner of the city to clarify the truth. The more I talked to people, the braver I became, the better I could talk, and the more I wanted to talk. I knew Master was behind everything I did.
I went out to clarify the truth every day of the year, no matter what the weather was like. I clarified the truth as long as there were people. Since 2004, I have helped more than 20 people every day to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. At times, I helped more than 40 people a day. Each year I was able to help more than 10 thousand people to quit. One time, I had just left with my bike, the wind blew away the pen and paper in my basket. I worried because I could not take down names if I did not have them. I looked behind me and saw that the pen and paper were sitting in my basket, where I had put them earlier. I knew Master had helped me.
Initially, I only helped my relatives and good friends to quit. Later, I went to the streets and talked to people I knew. After a while, I became anxious and thought that it was not right if I only clarify the truth to people I knew. I must treat everyone the same. I went to the outdoor market in the morning, because people gathered there. Many people were willing to take the materials I gave them and quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Regarding car drivers, I talked to them about driving safely and how they can remain safe if they quit the CCP. When I saw elementary school students, I first admired their backpacks and told them they look nice, then I reminded them to be safe in the time of disasters and told them about quitting the CCP. Everyone I helped to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations thanked me happily.
I once saw a pilot on the street and chatted with him. I told him that my husband used to be the chief of an air staff and I traveled with him. I talked to him about the dangers of being a pilot and clarified the truth to him, hoping that he could quit the CCP and its organizations in order to stay safe. He did so gladly. When I talked with people, sometimes I cried while thinking how lucky these people were to be able to born in the time when Falun Dafa is being taught. I was happy for them when they did not miss the opportunity to choose a bright future.
I did not miss any opportunity in order to save people. One time, my daughter wanted me to go on vacation and travel with her. I initially declined, thinking that I still needed to go somewhere that night to clarify the truth. She told me that I could still do that while we traveled, so I agreed. During the trip, I helped 150 people quit the CCP. Most of them quit as a family.
One night, I saw a scene in a dream. The next day I kept thinking where that place could be, because I believed that it was where Master wanted me to go to clarify the truth. As I looked up, I saw the scene from my dream and I was overjoyed. A group of workers were talking there and I approached them, talked to them and all of them quit the CCP. One time, I saw a bunch of cars lined up in a dream. The next day, I rode my bike and passed by a busy street. The traffic was jammed and all the cars were lined up. I quickly knocked on the window of a car and talked to the driver and the passengers. All of them agreed to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Master had arranged all these opportunities for me, just like he mentioned in “Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa”,
“Actually, when Master wants something done a certain way, it’s not simply that he thought of something and then that’s it. I have to do a tremendous amount of preparation, which you cannot see, and all of those gods work on it too. Everything has been prepared, and all that’s missing is for you to carry it out. Yet you won’t take that step.”
We should take this step and not have Master worry about us clarifying the truth.
3. My Understanding in the Process of Clarifying the Truth
First of all, our wisdom comes from Falun Dafa. It will come to us when we clarify the truth. As long as we do what Master asks us to and clarify the truth based on the Fa, Master will give us wisdom and miracles will take place.
Secondly, when our righteous thoughts are strong, we will have no fear when we clarify the truth. As long as our minds are pure, the old forces will have no gaps to exploit and the evil beings will not persecute us.
I have helped many people to quit the CCP in the past years, including government officials, policemen, agents from the 610 Office, teachers, students, soldiers, and farmers. Of course, I have met people who did not agree with me and refused to listen. I was never reported by anyone though. I was safe during the past 12 years, because of Master's protection and fellow practitioners' help.
