Female Practitioner's Arm Fractured During Violent Arrest in Chongqing

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Tingzhen was seen at around 7 a.m. on June 9 handing out truth clarifying pamphlets at Tianzicheng by Wanzhou District plainclothes police officers. One officer twisted Ms. Zhang's hands and stepped on them and said triumphantly: “I've waiting for you for a long time; I finally caught you today, my job is well done.”

 
Torture re-enactment: dragging

The plainclothes policemen next dragged Ms. Zhang more than 10 feet. Ms. Zhang's arm was broken when she was dragged, and she was semi-conscious. Two of the officers said arrogantly: “You are pretending to be dead, yet we have orders from the top—we are not responsible if you die.”

Then the policemen took Ms. Zhang to the Shahe Police Station. Police officers saw her right shoulder was all black in color, her right arm was hanging from the shoulder, and she was unable to stand, so they sent her to Chongqing Three Gorges Central Hospital. Ms. Zhang's right humerus was fractured. The police station did not want to be responsible for her injuries and sent her home at 2 o'clock at night, intending to monitor her at home.

Ms. Zhang was also arrested by Gaosuntang Police in the Wanzhou district in Chongqing during the 2008 summer Olympic Games. She was sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp and sent to the Shabao Women's Forced Labor Camp in Chongqing.
