(Minghui.org) Master said: “For Dafa disciples as a whole, in the process of validating the Fa, when you work together in concert, the Fa power is great.” (“Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference”) I had a deep understanding of Master's words when I cooperated with my fellow practitioners as a whole. Over two years after an incident involving cooperation, I did not write it out because I was afraid other practitioners would think I was trying to claim the credit. I now recognize that this was my attachment, and that I did not have a good understanding of Fa validation.
Several of our fellow practitioners were arrested at the same time and taken to the police station. They were sent to a detention center the following day. Practitioners in our area started to act the evening following the arrests. First we separated, going to all the arrested practitioners' homes and telling their families to hide the arrested practitioners' possessions. The next day, we met with those families, clarified the truth about the arrests, and encouraged them to go to the police station and demand the release of their loved ones. At the same time, we sent the news of the arrests and names and phone numbers of the police officers involved to the Minghui website. Within days, the circumstances of the arrests and collected photographs were made into the form of a weekly newspaper and sent to Minghui.org. Fellow practitioners at Minghui were great—they sorted out the information and published it in a timely manner. Our local practitioners posted a lot of newsletters about the arrests in our area, and we also wrote to the police station.
By the time we accompanied the families to the police station, demanding the release of the arrested practitioners, the police there were helplessly fearful. They said that they had even received phone calls from overseas. They opened a drawer and said. “Look. These are all the letters we've received and newsletters we've collected from the neighborhood.” There were the newsletters Minghui had quickly published detailing the arrests. The newsletters had been posted near the police station by other practitioners we do not even know. In fact, to this day we do not know who posted them. This police station is quite far from our area, and it is not an easy trip, either, so those practitioners who posted the newsletters near the police station had a really good understanding and awareness of the overall coordination. They took the initiative to do what they could. Their efforts deeply touched our hearts. In the past, when practitioners we did not know and who lived far away were arrested, our reactions were rather apathetic, and our righteous thoughts for them lacked consistency and seriousness. The proactive cooperation of those practitioners, posting the newsletters, increased our confidence and strength.
It took us less than a week from the time of the arrests to go to the police station and demand the release of the arrested practitioners. The truth clarifying effort at the police station was very good. When we learned that the practitioners had been sent a detention center and their files moved to a branch office, we went to the branch office to demand their release. Our hearts at that time were very pure. The arrested practitioners' families cooperated with us, and we had very strong righteous thoughts, thus our truth clarifying effort at the branch office was also very effective. After we returned home, we decided to add five minutes of righteous thoughts after our regular sending forth righteous thoughts at seven, eight, and nine o'clock at night just for the arrested practitioners.
Within a month, all the arrested practitioners returned home. The surface reason was they did not pass the physical exam to enter the forced labor camp. Of course, we all knew that Master created this illusion. It was because we cooperated as a whole and harmonized with the Fa that a miracle like this happened.
The arrested practitioners told us that, while they were detained, they did not yield; they recited the Fa, did the exercises, and clarified the truth to others. Even though they did not completely reject everything they encountered while being detained, they acted against the persecution.
During the rescue, there were arguments among practitioners, too, because we all have different understandings. We all knew the importance of cooperating as one body, however, so eventually those who were firm with their opinions let go of selfishness and had deeper understandings of cooperating as a whole body and unconditionally.
As Master said in “The Master-Disciple Bond” in Hong Yin II:
“When disciples have ample righteous thoughts
Master has the power to turn back the tide”
