(Minghui.org) Officers from the Shenbei New District Police Department in Shenyang City simultaneously carried out arrests of Falun Gong practitioners in four different places. The arrests took place on the evening of June 7, 2012.

Around 5:00 p.m. on June 7, Shenbei New District police arrested Ms. Guan Yaqing and her non-practitioner husband from Huangjia Township and took them to the Huangjia Township Police Station.

After 7:00 p.m. that day, the police simultaneously arrested local practitioners in three other areas—Xinchengzi Street, Cailuo Town, and Magang Township.

Around 7:50 p.m. a group of officers from the Shenbei New District Police Department broke into practitioner Ms. Wu Limei's home in Xinchengbao Village. They arrested her and her husband, Mr. Liang Zhihong, and took them to their Falun Gong informational materials production site in an apartment at a residential compound in Xinchengzi Street. The police also arrested Ms. Wu's son who lives there.

Mr. Liang and his son were released that same evening. The families of Mr. Liang and Ms. Wu have been persecuted for practicing Falun Gong. Mr. Liang and his second older brother were once sentenced to 6 years and 3 years in prison, respectively. Several members of Ms. Wu's family have been subjected to forced labor and detention.

After 7:00 p.m., officers from the Shenbei New District Police Department colluded with officers from the Cailuo Town Police Station to arrest Mr. Li Jing in Langshitun and ransack his home. Mr. Li has been held in the Cailuo Town Police Station since the afternoon of June 8. Mr. Li, in his 40s, is employed at a local factory.

After 7:00 p.m., more than a dozen officers from the Shenbei New District Police Department colluded with officers from the Magang Township Police Station and broke into Mr. Wang Yongli's home in Magang Village. They attempted to arrest him and his wife, but the couple firmly resisted. Mr. Wang's wife, Ms. Li Yan, loudly condemned the officers' attempt to illegally arrest them, attracting the attention of the neighbors, who came out to see what was happening. The couple took the opportunity to escape.

The police broke the windows of Mr. Wang's home, entered illegally, and took a computer, 3 printers, CD burners, and CDs. Four officers went to ransack the home of Mr. Wang's father-in-law, Mr. Li Guiwen. Mr. Li's wife was at home, but Mr. Li was absent. The police took two Falun Gong books. Mr. Li heard the news later and has not returned home.

Around 10:00 p.m., officers from the Shenbei New District Police Department went to Ms. Zhao Suyan's home on Xinchengzi Street in an attempt to arrest her. Ms. Zhao's husband refused to open the door, and the police were unsuccessful. Ms. Zhao has to live away from home to avoid the persecution.

Prior to the four arrest attempts on June 7, the police arrested Dong Huidi and Zhao Fengjie from Magang Township in late May.
