(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 28 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 24 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 52 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Fengxia and Another Eight Practitioners Arrested
On the morning of April 15, 2012, Panjin City Police Department arrested Ms. Wang Fengxia from the Shuangtaizi District and confiscated her computer. She is being detained in the Third Detention Center.
That same day, another eight practitioners were arrested: four from Dawa County, Panjin City: Mr. Liu Wanxiang, Ms. Liu Yulan, Ms. Zhang Kun, and Mr. Ji Zhenhui; one from Huludao City: Ms. Sanjie; and three from the Xinglongtai District: Mr. Gong Guixin and his eldest sister and Ms. Guo Yang.

On April 15, 2012, captain of the Domestic Security Division of Fuxin City Liu Siwei, and captain of the Domestic Security Division of Haizhou District Wu Zhongqi went to Ms. Xu Xiuhua's home and arrested all three people in her family. The officers confiscated about 6,000 yuan ($942 USD) in paper bills that had truth clarification information written on them, a computer, and several cell phones. Meanwhile, the Hexi Police Station of Qinghemen District arrested Ms. Wang Fengyun. Ms. Xu Xiuhua and Ms. Wang Fengyun are being held in Xindi Detention Center of Fuxin City.

On April 4, 2012, the Domestic Security Division of Miyun County, the 610 Office, and officers from the Henanzhai Town Police Station broke into Mr. Li Foyuan's home and arrested his wife, Ms. Rao Fengqin. They later arrested Mr. Li Foyuan, his son Mr. Li Jing, and one of Mr. Li Foyuan's elder sisters, then took them to the Henanzhai Police Station. The sister fainted from the shock and was taken to the hospital at her family's urgent request. She is still in the hospital.
Ms. Rao is now in Nihe Detention Center in the Shunyi District. Her husband and son are being detained in Miyun County Detention Center.

6. [Linqu County, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Wanrong Detained in the Women's Forced Labor Camp of Jinan City
On February 22, 2012, Ms. Liu Wanrong from Yeyuan Town, Linqu County, was arrested and taken to Linqu County Detention Center by police officers from the Domestic Security Division of Linqu County. A month later, she was taken to the Women's Forced Labor Camp of Jinan City.
7. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Li Dengying, Mr. Yu Chaozhong and Mr. Liang Zhenping Arrested
On April 14, 2012, several police officers from the Xieji Town Police Station, including Gu Zongxin, broke into Ms. Li Dengying's home and arrested her, along with Mr. Yu Chaozhong and Mr. Liang Zhenping, who were reading Falun Gong books together. They were taken to the police station along with their books.
Mr. Liang was released that night. Mr. Yu had the symptoms of high blood pressure on April 16 and was then released. Ms. Li is now being held in Linquan County Detention Center.

8. [Wulian County, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Arrested
On the night of April 11, Ms. Ma, in her 40s, from Yanjia Village, Kouguan Town, Wulian County, was arrested and held in the Kouguan Town Police Station.
9. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Qu Qi and Other Practitioners Arrested
On April 12, 2012, two practitioners from the Sanqiao District in Guiyang City, Ms. Xing Xiuzhen and Ms. Zhu, and two practitioners from the Baiyun District, Ms. Qu Qi and Ms. Lu Liangbi, were arrested and their homes ransacked.
10. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Ms. Yang Aihua
Ms. Yang Aihua, an employee of the Body Plant of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, was reported and arrested for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong in the Maojian District on April 8, 2012. Her home was later ransacked and her computer and some other items were confiscated. Ms. Yang is being detained in the Second Detention Center of Liulingou, Shiyan City.
11. [Chenxi County, Hunan Province] Ms. Yang Heimei Arrested Again
On April 15, 2012, Ms. Yang Heimei from Huangxikou Town, Chenxi County, Huaihua City, was arrested for clarifying the truth in Shangxi Township, Shangpu Town. She has been transferred to Chenxi County.
12. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Dan Junying Arrested
Ms. Dan Junying, 48, from Leshan City had her home ransacked by the 610 Office of Leshan City on the morning of April 16, 2012, and was then detained in Shizhushan Detention Center of Leshan City.
13. [Baoqing County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Han Changgui Arrested
On April 14, 2012, Mr. Han Changgui from Hongxing Village, Chaoyang Township, Baoqing County, was arrested by plainclothes police officers. His current whereabouts are unknown.
14. [Pengshan County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Deng Jiangang in Critical Condition
Mr. Deng Jiangang from Pengshan County was illegally sentenced to prison in 2008 and has been incarcerated in Wumaping Prison, Leshan City, and tortured. He how has fluid accumulation in his lungs. After he was taken to a hospital in Chengdu City, Fu Yan, the police officer, forcibly took him back to prison. Mr. Deng now vomits blood and is in critical condition. His family requests for his immediate release.

15. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Mr. Lu Shigong
On March 20, 2012, Mr. Lu Shigong from Qixia City, Yantai City, was arrested and has been detained in Qixia City Detention Center. Mr. Lu started a hunger strike on April 1.
16. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Xiao Zujun Arrested
On the afternoon of February 15, 2012, Yang Zhu, a police officer responsible for household registration from the Nanjin Road Police Station of Chuanshan District, Suining City, in collusion with Yang Jing, director of Comprehensive Management Office of Nanjin Road, and other officers, arrested Mr. Xiao Zujun at home and took him to a brainwashing center. They confiscated Falun Gong books, MP3 players, MP4 players, and many truth-clarification materials.

On the morning of April 13, 2012, the Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office arrested two practitioners from the Dongchangfu District, Ms. Yi Xiaorong and an elderly practitioner in her 70s. In addition, those officers confiscated six or seven thousand yuan in cash from Ms. Yi's shop. Ms. Yi is now being detained in Liaocheng City Detention Center, and the elderly practitioner is being detained in a brainwashing center run by the 610 Office.
22. [Shanghai] Additional Information on Mr. Shi Yi's Being Taken to Mental Hospital
On March 29, 2012, Mr. Shi Yi from Shanghai was arrested and taken to a mental hospital for distributing Shen Yun DVDs and software to break through the Internet blockade. After being injected with unknown drugs against his will, Mr. Shi, who used to be a healthy young man, has developed symptoms of fever, poor appetite, backache, insomnia, constipation with blood, agitation, shaking limbs, and a dull appearance.

23. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Additional Information on the Arrests of More than a Dozen Practitioners
On April 12, 2012, officers from the Baba'ao Police Station in the Baiyun District arrested Ms. Deng Kaixiu from the Baiyun District and ransacked her home, confiscating a computer, Falun Gong informational materials, and cash. Meanwhile, Guiyang City Police Department, in collusion with Baiyun District Police Department, broke into Mr. Chen Yonggao's home; arrested him and his wife, Ms. Huo Dezhen; and confiscated a computer, a printer, and many Falun Gong informational materials. Mr. Chen and his wife were released six hours later.
Mr. Yang Chenggang and Ms. Guo Yunying had their home ransacked and were both arrested. Their computers, printers, DVD writers, laminators, drill, and many other items were confiscated. That same night, Ms. Guo Wen, Ms. Chen Ying, Ms. Xie Zhongyun, and Ms. Wang Tianyin were arrested and had their homes ransacked, with computers. All their all Falun Gong informational materials were confiscated.
On April 16, Ms. Yang Home had her home and shop ransacked. She was later taken to the Baiyun District Detention Center. Ms. Wang Su'e and her husband were arrested and had their homes ransacked.
On the afternoon of April 17, Ms. Yang Hong, Ms. Guo Yunying, and Ms. Wang Su'e and her husband were released. But the other seven practitioners' whereabouts are unknown.

On April 9, 2012, Ms. Sun Qingyang from Suileng County was arrested and is now in Suileng County Forestry Department Detention Center.
26. [Daqing City, Helongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Xingye Taken to Brainwashing Center
Mr. Sun Xingye, from Daqing City, was sentenced to ten years in prison and was supposed to be released on April 18, 2012. When his family came to retrieve him that day, Sun Hongbo from the Stability Office of Daqing City Saertu Oil Extraction Plant, in collusion with the Domestic Security Division, had already transferred Mr. Zhang to Yichun City Brainwashing Center of Heilongjiang Province in the middle of the night of April 18.

27. [Chongqing] Ms. Deng Huacheng Home Ransacked
On April 16, 2012, Ms. Deng Huacheng from the Yongchuan District, Chongqing, was arrested at home and had many personal items confiscated, including a laptop, a printer, cell phones, and MP3 players.

Yongchuan District government, Chongqing arrested Ms. He Guangrun, Ms. Cheng Zhi'e, and other practitioners and took them to the Yongchuan District government brainwashing center.
29. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Shouxin and His Wife Tortured
Mr. Zhang Shouxin and his wife, Ms. Xiao, were arrested by the 610 Office of Changle County, and were detained in the Chengguan Police Station. After being tortured on an iron chair, they have since been transferred to Changle County Detention Center.
30. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xia Yang Arrested at Home
Ms. Xia Yang from the Qingshan District was arrested at home on the afternoon of April 17, 2012, and is being detained in Qingshan District Beihu Brainwashing Center.
31. [Hong'an County, Hubei Province] Ms. Peng Xizao Arrested
On the morning of April 9, 2012, Dong Fangchu, and Yao Xuejun, among four other officers from the Hong'an Domestic Security Division, broke into Ms. Peng Xizao's home, arrested her, and took her to Huolianfan Detention Center. She was detained for 15 days.
32. [Huolin Gol City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Chen Yuqin Arrested
On the morning of April 18, 2012, Zhang Yushu and other officers from Huolin Gol City Police Department arrested Ms. Chen Yuqin and ransacked her home. Ms. Chen's whereabouts are unknown.
33. [Pengshan County, Sichuan Province] Current Condition of Mr. Chen Guojian
Mr. Chen Guojian was sentenced to forced labor camp in 2007 and was supposed to be released on April 11, 2012, but he was then taken by the 610 Office to Meishan City Brainwashing Center.
On the morning of April 15, 2012, Zhang Zhichun, head of the 610 Office of Penshan County, and Yang Haixia, instructed Cai Shanshe and some other police officers from the Pengxi Town Police Station to go to Ms. Jiang Xiantao's home, arrest her, and take her to Meishan City Brainwashing Center. Ms. Jiang was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution.

35. [Chongqing] Additional Information on the Arrests of Some Falun Gong Practitioners from Beibei District
On April 16, 2012, Beibei District Police Department, the Tiansheng Police Station, and the 610 Office of the Beibei District arrested Mr. Gong and his wife, Ms. Wang, then took them to Sanxikou Detention Center.
