(Minghui.org) Here I'd like to share my experience of clarifying the truth while rescuing fellow practitioners. Please kindly point out anything inappropriate.
In July 2010 the police arrested two practitioners for distributing Falun Gong materials. Several practitioners organized a rescue team to explain the facts to practitioners' families and those who participated in the persecution.
Seeing practitioners devote all their hearts to this effort, I realized how much I lagged behind: I was numb, not realizing we were a whole body, and I didn't take other practitioners seriously. Fa study made me realize that I should use my abilities and wisdom and cooperate with other practitioners as a whole body. Once I realized this, Master paved the way for me, and I acted like a team member.
During five months of the rescue process, we accompanied the families of the arrested practitioners to tell the facts face to face to the Public Security officials.
A police station head hid in the bathroom
During the initial days just after the practitioners were illegally arrested, the authorities were belligerent. One day we went to the police station with the family members of the arrested practitioners. We spoke with the precinct head and asked him to release the practitioners unconditionally. He was furious, pounding on a table and throwing a chair. He shouted, “If you dare to come again, I'll arrest you immediately for 20 hours of detention!” The family members were scared and tried to hide behind me.
At that moment I remembered Master's words,
“If you are a true practitioner, our Falun will safeguard you. I am rooted in the universe. If anyone can harm you, he or she would be able to harm me. Put simply, that person would be able to harm this universe.” (Zhuan Falun)
It was the Fa that reinforced my righteous thoughts. I was not afraid. At the same time I felt that my righteous thoughts came from the cooperation of the whole body. Other practitioners were sending righteous thoughts near the station.
I smiled and told the precinct head the facts about Falun Gong. But he was fearful and dared not look at me. After a while he said, “How come you are still here? If you don't leave, I'll leave!” Then he went downstairs. I followed right behind him. He then hid in the bathroom.
I reminded myself of the purpose for my being there—to let him know the truth. I was really doing this for his sake. Then I sent righteous thoughts outside the bathroom.
After a long time he peeked out of the door and saw me still waiting for him. He immediately shouted, “Hey, policewomen! Come! Get her away from here.”
Policewomen apologized immediately
Soon four policewomen came downstairs; one of them, who was tall and about 30 years old, grabbed my right arm and tried to pull me away. But she just could not move me. Soon she got tired and grumbled, “It's unbelievable; why I can't move you even a bit?”
I told her solemnly in a low voice, “Please remove your hands. I'm older than your mother. Treating me like this is not good for you, really.” She immediately let go and looked like she understood. Then she apologized to me.
Another policewoman complained that they received many truth-clarification phone calls. I told her patiently, “Those practitioners use their own money and time to call you. All they want is to let you know the truth and have a bright future. If you get such a phone call again, reply to them, 'Falun Dafa is good' and then they will stop. Try it.” They all smiled.
Four officers couldn't move one practitioner
Right after the 2010 Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, a few family members of arrested practitioners and a few of us went to the police station again. We asked the head to withdraw their fabricated evidence and to release the arrested practitioners unconditionally. He shouted again, “Come! Drive them out!”
The associate head appeared with an electric baton and the (political) instructor directed many policewomen to surround me. They tried to move me, but no matter how they tried, they just could not budge me. Then they tried to carry me outside but still couldn't do it even though I didn't use my strength. With no choice left, the head said, “Let's leave.” All of them disappeared.
I still stood there and sent righteous thoughts. With the cooperation of the practitioners who sent righteous thoughts outside, the evil factors were destroyed. The police station was very quiet. Even the air seemed frozen.
After a while the associate head came and greeted us. Without being controlled by evil forces, he was a normal person. I told him the Falun Gong facts. He was very willing to listen. At last he said, “Is Falun Gong really good?” I replied, “Falun Gong is indeed good! Very, very good. People from more than 100 countries and areas are practicing Falun Gong and are trying to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to be good people, and always think of others first. Is that good or not?” He put up his hands, “Good! Keep on practicing!” And he told me through his hand gestures to pay attention to safety. Later on other officers came. I told them the facts, also. After they understood, the expression in their eyes changed.
People's consciences were awakened
During the process of rescuing practitioners we sincerely told the facts to everyone we met.
An associate head of a community quit the CCP after understanding what really happened to Falun Gong. A female association head helped practitioners after understanding the truth. She called the police department and asked them to release the practitioners unconditionally in order to protect females and children. A prosecutor was moved to tears when he understood the truth. A chief judge tried his best to speak up for practitioners after he understood the truth.
We practitioners cooperated with each other and went to the home of a police officer who had reported practitioners many times. We told him that good will receive good rewards, and evil will receive retribution. Finally he understood and said that he would be kind to practitioners in the future.
During the process of rescuing practitioners and telling people the truth, I felt deeply that Master is protecting us all the time. No words in the world can express how grateful I am. I will follow the path Master pointed out to me, truly cultivate myself, and offer more people salvation as I validate Dafa.
