Ms. Shi Meiqin and Ms. Yang Chumei Tried in Shanwei City, Guangdong Province

(Minghui.org) Ms. Shi Meiqin and Ms. Yang Chumei, a retired teacher, are Falun Gong practitioners in Shanwei City, Guangdong Province. They were arrested on the morning of July 3, 2012, and have been held in Shanwei Detention Center for almost four months. On the afternoon of September 11, 2012, the 610 Office secretly tried them.

Ms. Yang was held in the Sanshui Brainwashing Center in 2004. In the middle of March 2010, she was again arrested and sent to Sanshui Brainwashing Center and was persecuted there for nearly a year. This time, she was arrested by the 610 Office in Shanwei City. The trial was held in Shanwei Courthouse, and there was no verdict at the conclusion of the session.
