(Clearwisdom.net) As May 13, 2011 is the 12th Anniversary of World Falun Dafa Day and the founder Master Li Zhongzhi's 60th birthday, Falun Dafa practitioners in Thailand held a celebration event in a park in Bangkok on May 8, 2011.

The celebration started with a large scale group exercise demonstration, followed by traditional Chinese dance and music performances by practitioners. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the persecution, and to share the joy of World Falun Dafa Day with the people. At the end of the event, the practitioners took a group photo and wished Master Li a happy birthday to express their gratitude to Master Li for imparting this practice that has benefited millions of people around the world.

The activities concluded in the evening. Throughout the course of the event, many passersby stopped to watched the performances and applauded warmly.
Since Falun Dafa was introduced to the public in May 1992, the exercise has been introduced to over 100 countries and has benefited millions of practitioners. Practitioners all around the world have held World Falun Dafa celebrations annually to promote Falun Dafa and express their gratitude to Master Li.
