Two More Practitioners Killed by Police in Weifang City, Shandong Province

On the night of May 17, around 11:00 p.m., another practitioner was persecuted to death in Weifang City. Her name is unknown, but she was 26 years old and from Gaomi District in Weifang. She was sent to the internal medicine department of the Second People's Hospital, room 6, for emergency rescue on May 15, when she was tortured to the point of barely being able to breathe after being detained by Weifang Police Department for five and a half months. She was handcuffed even during the proceedings of the emergency rescue, with several police guarding the room. People from the investigation bureau and the court came to investigate the situation. A judge questioned a policeman why they would still not let her go after having tortured her to such a state.

Dafa Practitioner Ms. Yu Lixin Died After Suffering Grueling Torture

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Ms. Yu Lixin was 36 year old when she passed away. She was an official at Jilin City Workers' Union [a government department] in Jilin Province, a Party member and a college graduate. Prior to practicing Dafa, she was afflicted with nine different diseases. She went to many renowned doctors, but all of them failed to cure her. With no choice left she turned to Falun Dafa in 1997. Several months later a miracle took place: all nine of her diseases disappeared! During two years of cultivation, Ms. Yu conducted herself according to Teacher's requirement, as she became a better-than-good person. She was a good worker, a good wife at home, and she even took her mother-in-law, whom she hardly talked to before cultivation, into her home. Her mother-in-law was very happy and said, "My daughter-in-law is the best person in the world." She was awarded the titles "Outstanding Official" and "Outstanding Party Member" for several years in a row. She always worked hard and never complained.

29 Solemn Declarations Received Today

As practitioners in China face tremendous pressure to give up their beliefs under the Chinese regime's brutal persecution, there are those who have given in and signed documents renouncing Falun Dafa. However, many of these people deeply regret doing so after they are released from detention and labor camps. "Solemn declarations" are the public statements made by such practitioners, often at great risk to their personal safety, to declare to the world that the documents they signed under duress are null and void and that they will continue to practice Falun Dafa.
